Hi, would you recommend to use high volume searched keywords even when they are incorrectly worded? E.g valentin's gift with a 680 key score. Thanks.

Wow, I am finally starting to understand, that ranking starts with key words and scores. I have come to realize that very few people shop for my niche on etsy, so either I have to bring people to my shop, or go find the place where they are shopping OR pivot and find another niche, or product. (I'm still thinking digital art though, just what kind of digital product. )

Etsy should integrate an official proper keyword tool on their site for their sellers instead of relying on third party companies. I think it would improve Etsy's bottom line by giving more sellers more access to relevant information.

That would be a first among the big platforms for sure. They do give you lots of data about the keywords you rank for, which is a great start

There's no magic formula, but what you're looking for is high volume, low competition

We rank in the top 7/10 spots for a keyword and are making a cpl sales on Etsy but the search volume is only 50 per month. Any tips to increase sales or are we limited by the kw volume?

That would depend on what other keywords are driving potential traffic, but if the combined search volume is only 50 people per month....then yes that would be a MAJOR limiting factor

Keyword score = (Volume/Competition) x 1000 then rounded up to the nearest multiple of 10.

correct. Additionally A higher Score Typically means it would be easier to rank and a lower score means it would be harder to rank, BUT I still wouldn't use it for much more than "directionality" in terms of which keywords to use, since it's based on volume estimates.

Quick question... it looks like the HIGHER the keyword score, the better the keyword, but you are saying it the opposit, that the higher the keyword score, the worse the harder it would be to rank for. Can you clarify and explain please? Confused!

I think you're confusing keyword score and search volume. As I said in the video I don't rely on the keyword score and what you should be looking for is a good balance of volume and competition

I am not trying to be a pain in the behind, but that doesn't make sense either. I thought with this tool, the higher the competition score, the better the keyword but you are saying the lower the score will be a better keyword. I am not relying on it, I am just trying to clarify.. Is that correct?

yes there are three subjects that I would like to address, I would like you to give me your opinion but especially with regard to SEO, I would like to do a business selling jewelry online and I am therefore finding out about the tools to use and the more I find out, the more I am in the dark. regarding SEO, do I need to do keyword research for each social network every time? I mean are the keywords and hashtag different on each platform? and for Google the keywords are also different?
