@@maikilreategui1271 - EU brought Armenia to this painful point. Go and read the real history of the region. Soviet Union made the mistakes. Also, Europe betrayed you during and after the genocide. Bolsheviks also killed millions of Russian and Ukrainian Christians. The great Western powers of the day grabbed all oil reach Arab lands after Ottoman Empire was dismantled and created their own colonies. Also, Russians saved 100,000- 150,000 thousand Armenians during and after genocide, when they had had war, revolution and starving themselves. Ignorance is a bliss for some.

First of all I would like to thank you very much for this exceptional documentary on the important mission the E.U. police is doing on Armenia's borders with Azerbaigian. I think that the Armenian authorities' decision to apply to EU for this observatory mission is one of the few wise decisions Pashinyan's government has taken so far. The fact that the mission is agreed with the Armenian side and resisted by non collaborative Azerbaigin regime gives an objective and clear idea of which part is aggressor and which side is victim resisting to external aggression. The fact that this mission is resisted and contested by Russian war criminal regime suggests clearly the interests of what side Moscow is defending. The Armenian government shoudl be more courageous to ask EU to expand its mission and make it permanent, because it contributes to ist national security. Yerevan should be enough wise to distance progressively form its former so-called partner and collaborate actively with EU on political and economic issues. Long Life to EU and it world-wide missions !

EU and NATO need to stay for good to prevent either side from being influenced by Russia to start again like in Kosovo and Cyprus. It's the only way for peace to be maintained

Nagorno-Karabakh was never a part of Azerbaijan as an independent country. The region was an ancient Armenian region which was given to newly created Azerbaijan Soviet republic in around 1930’s by Stalin. It was an autonomous region with its own constitution and parliament. 1989 when Azerbaijan broke away from Soviet Union the parlament of NK had referendum to vote for its independence Soon after the Armenian population faces wide spread massacres in Baku and Sumgait.

No fence but what's for EU Peace Mission?! Or let me ask that way ... what is difference between EU Mission and Birdwatchers? When the war begins (don't doubt it will begin) What will this group do? Will they call Brussels and say "Monsieur, the War has Begun!"..that's it? Do you think Azerbaijan cares what the EU thinks? Will the second-hand weapons donated by France and the moral support it provides protect Armenia? Let's be honest .. Armenia is making the same mistake again and again; allowing foreign powers to think on their behalf. This so call "method" has never produced good results, it never will. Let me tell you what will happen, young people will die, mothers will cry like rivers and Armenia will lose land! End of the story... The peace table can only be established between Yerevan and Baku, not Paris nor Brussels! Think again and again once and act wisely ,before too late.

Of course you don't understand, but it's quite simple. When there is a ceasefire between 2 countries, obviously they can't control themselves, so they ask a third party to control if the agreements are respected. This happens all the time with the UN. Btw armed soldiers would be useless anyway as the Russians peacekeepers were.

I am glad these people were there. They can attest to the fact that Azerbaijan did not commit genocide or kill any fleeing Armenians. Unfortunately, in 90s when Azerbaijanis were fleeing from Karabakh, there were no EU , American, French, or any other journalists that documented hundreds of Azerbaijanis being murdered. Luckily , there are pictures of murdered people but no videos or proof of who killed them. That is very unfortunate because it allowed many conspiracy theories to flourish regarding who killed peaceful people.

Do not make up stories here! It was only 30 years ago! 350K Armenians had to flee Baku within 2 years in 1988-1990 because of the atrocities azeris were committing toward local Armenians! There are numerous videos about the massacres in Sumgait and Baku! You, in your turn, cannot present anything to support your lies!

1. Armenians have occupied Karabah, which is part of Azerbaijan, for thirty years 2. Azerbaijan have guaranteed citizenship and full rights to their citizens who of Armenian ethnicity 3. If you have left your property and your citizenship i order to settle down i Armenia, due to fear you still have the right to go back. 4. Army of Azerbaijan did not target (bomb) civilians did not rape women, did not destroy private property, did not commit mass murders, and did not organize concentration camps. Armenia was occupying more than 20% of Azerbaijan and ethnically cleansed more than 10% of Azerbaijani population. 4 UN resolitions were passed over the decades and Armenia defied all of them. In 2018 Pashinyan was elected and he illegally visited the occupied territories and said it is part of Armenia and with other careless steps by Armenia that all together very much agitated Azerbaijan ....all in all Azerbaijan got most of its land. Azerbaijan has no any interest to occupy even an inch of Armenia. The problem is Armenian public never get used to bordering with Azerbaijani people and border guards or milirary posts a long the border since 1994. Azerbaijan has other 4 border countries and its people and security guards are in close contact with the other border communities of those countries and there is no problem.

Shame on your journalism. Such a hypocrisy to mention “ territory was already is recognized as part of Azerbaijan by international law but it’s predominantly inhabited by ethnic Armenians. No mention of a million Azerbaijani had to flee their homes in 90s and that’s why area is only inhabited by Armenians. This is not a journalism this is part of the propaganda. Keep giving Armenia weapons france! That’ll bring us peace :)))

Relax... By international law the Armenians of that disputed region also have the sole right of self determination by UN article 5. The Armenian population of Nagorno-Karabakh wanted self determination and voted for it. Azerbaijan answered with war and lost. Also the Armenians are the native and indegenes people's of that land. Let's be honest here.
