In this video titled EU4 A to Z - CAN I Defeat HUMAN PLAYER COLONIZERS As Aztec I do a playthrough as Aztec in Europa Universalis 4 1.32 Origins. This is the series titled A to Z where I attempt to play every* nation in EU4 in alphabetical order. Of course I had to remove some nations so the challenge doesn't get too boring. In this video I play as the nation of Aztec in a multiplayer game and I attempt to stop human player colonizers from conquering my capital province of Mexico! So let's see if I managed to do it! @@kevinsworldK.w69 u dont want to play via epic though, as all the good mods are on the steam workshop and some of them u need to smooth the game out a bit in some areas, plus the base game sucks without the dlc

@@Exalted_Wolfe I cant even buy Dlc cuz i don't have a credit card, and i can still get the same Steam mods into epic. Idk why you think you cant use steam mods in epic EU4, but you can. I would know cuz i have been doing exactly that, i got EU4 from Epic games and have been getting literally any mod, including Steam ones.

@@kevinsworldK.w69 u dont need a credit card on steam u can just go buy top up cards in any retail store for them, plus ive delt with enough chinese companies to know to stay away from epic games, any company that is based in a country with no copyright laws is not a company i want to support

@Mikołaj Dujka During the American war of independence, the rebels got a lot of help from France. Without French support, the war would have been unwinnable. Supposedly, this part of the story often gets left out in American history classes.

@Kayeka it doesn't really get left out. We learn about this guy, Marquis de Lafayette I think, and how him and Benjamin Franklin worked out the alliance. It's been a while since my high school US history class though.

This was really cool. Switching to animist was a great idea, not so much switching back to Nahuatl. As for Ayutthaya, some colonies in the Pacific would be fun.

Really great idea for a challenge! Enjoyed that one a lot. Would it have been possible to show the world history at the end? Not sure if that is possible in multi player campaigns. But I think that would have added a lot to see how the others were doing (at least it would have satiated my inherent curiosity, haha).

One letter down. 25 to go. You are 7.3% done. Ish. 71 tags down the alphabetical list, with a total of 966 numbered tags. But that's including any formables/releasables, without even getting into the too generic ones. So you're actaully much closer than 7.3%.

2:08 - No it's not. I remember when EU4 and several of its DLCs were on Humble Bundle for about $17, which was effectively about 92% off. THAT was the best trade deal in the history of trade deals. :)

So the "flip to animist" is the strategy I always use on Aztecs. One thing however, since 1.32 I can no longer do it? The "force religion" tribute seems to have its cost increased by 400% now? Nevermind am just dumb I have to do it the old fashioned way sadge Also the nahuatl religion is insane and I would recommend sticking with it even in MPs so many military buffs. +10% morale of armies and +5% discipline

If you see this for future reference, the "L" at the end of Nahuatl words is silent, so Nahuatl for example would be pronounced "Nah wat"

Amazing video! Just in case you decide to play Aztec again in the future, you might not have realised but your Doom increases based on your number of provinces. So you wanna keep it low whilst passing reforms. Really messed me up the first time I tried playing Aztec!
