Interesting to go inside to see wheel R&D + testing of components. I'd like to visit the factories too, perhaps one of these days on an extended Asia + SEA trip. Miss Thailand (pun unintended 😍) for sure but hope I'll like China too as never been. Good stuff Albert

Thank you for the tour. I thoroughly enjoyed it. If I was there I would ask Kingsong "Why can't I turn off the beeps for the S16? I don't want it making any noise when I'm inside a cafe or restaurant." and I would ask Inmotion "Why did you make the trolley so cheap and flimsy on the V14? The wheel oozes quality everywhere else".

They've just had some trouble recently with their wheels. Every manufacturer goes up and down in cycles. Begode had their MSP/Nikola/Master issues, LeaperKim had their Abrams issues, InMotion had their V11/V12 issues. There's no perfect manufacturer.

@@2cells1pack Wrongway just gave the S16 a really positive review so I'm hoping for the best. Realistically though, I think Kingsong is being out-competed on the pricing. Begode A2 is half the price, and the V8 around half the price of S16 as well.

Yeah, the S16 Pro was a really great wheel. We enjoyed it in China and I think price wise it might be a little high - but still quite competitive.

We had to drive to InMotion, couldn't ride. They are in downtown ShenZhen which was approximately 30 mins away from where we stayed.

Hahaha. EUC is still a small industry. Also, keep in mind that these are to the best of Jack's knowledge- but he doesn't have spreadsheet raw data of worldwide sales of all companies at his fingertips.

s20 exploded, renamed it to s22, then the s22 had a ton of motor problems with stator slippage, then they had to fix the terrible sliders, and a lot of that wheel is still weak so a lot of people lost trust in kingsong even though they seem to have fixed all of those problems on the new wheels

Just takes time to wake up. he's not a morning person and we forced him to have early days the whole time we were there.
