Nice video, wish you mentioned sd card support, it doesn’t support sd card built in 8gb ( across all new solocam i think) local storage and homebase need for storing more videos. Least base3 cause it’s supported ssd otherwise go Reolink trackmix,you can expand up to 256gb! Now i need homebase3 ( just bought s340 and c210 solocam which not supported sd card slot haha ) cause no one tell us even googling, they supporting sd card or not. 😅

Great video, thank you...but you (or me) missed one part, and that's the storage. Where is the video stored? How do I view my video? Is it free? Can I buy a Wi-Fi storage device to place inside like Lorex does with their Fusion Wi-Fi storage device? If it's a storage card, how many days of video does it hold? Do I have to remove the card to view it?

I bought it and sent it back. Great day video. Night is awful when it comes to motion detection. Misses half the motion. If you aren’t a car, forget it

I have both Reolink and Eufy Wi-Fi cameras and want to at 2 auto tracking Cameras to my setup. My dilemma is do I go with the Reolink TrackMix or the new Eufy S340. Anyone tried both and have advice?

@AndreSoares89 I just e Tested the audible alarm on the S340 and it was loud. Unfortunately, I don't have a sound meter to test the dB output, and finding the manual online is no easy feat. I will say the sound with the flashing lights makes for a nice attention-getter!

I love my Trackmix cameras, plus what you get with the Reolink over the S340 is 24/7 recording. I have Eufy cameras as well, mostly the floodlight cam pro 2, which work great as well. If making a choice, I'd choose Reolink for hardwired system with 24/7 recording. If you can't hardwire, then Eufy is a good choice.

@jcm9698 if you are looking for 24/7 recording, then you are looking for the E340 Flood Light. The S340 is specifically designed for Solar installations and is as feature-rich as the E340 but with event trigger recording and solar/battery operation. I own both the S340 and E340, and they are both excellent pieces of tech. I agree with you 100 percent, if you can go with hardwire, it offers an advantage, even though with every passing day, the advantage gets smaller and smaller. From what I have seen, Eufy's software is second to none. But my experience in surveillance is limited to Eufy's products.

What do you Choose as powersource if you have the solar panel on top??

It is battery powered and for typical use cases it lasts around 3 months because the camera only really records and potentially saves video when it detects motion. If you install the solar panel the battery power is more or less infinite as long as enough light is provided. It'll probably just charge whenever the panel produces energy.
