Shane Jhastin Picson No it wouldn't, Liverpool would have lost the title on goal difference. The only reason we drew 3-3 at Palace was because they kept going for goals at 3-0 up to try and bring back the difference. The loss to Chelsea killed it.

Because the three S's carried Liverpool almost to a Pl title with a bang average midfield(apart from gerrard) and defence. Barca had Iniesta, Busquets and Rakitic, Dani Alves. MSN were impressive but what the three S's did was outstanding and to add to that they had Rodgers as their coach. even impressively is that the Liverpool squad scored 100+ goals in the league with the most average looking midtable side.

What I don't understand is, MSN were rated 10 because they had Dani Alves, Iniesta, Xavi and Busquets to support them but then you go on and put Zidane, Raul and Ronaldo in the trio. They were the galicticos and together they only one league title. They had Makelele, Figo, Roberto Carlos and Casillas. Statistically the MSN were better but still rated 10th even though they won 2 league titles, 3 domestic cups and 1 champions league in 3 years.

For all of the people saying why suarez sterling and sturridge are so high. They contributed to almost every single liverpool goal in the 13/14 season which scored over 100 goals in the league. They carried liverpool to second which they would have won if it wasnt for the awful defence and mid table midfield bar gerrard. I mean mignolet was in goal, glen johnson was left back, joe allen and lucas were and skrtel, sakho and jon flanagan arent exactly world beaters. Edit. All you barcalona fans are butthurt use your head messi, suarez and neymar are obviously better than everyone on this list bar number 1. so stop fucking moaning.
