EUROPEAN RAILWAYS of the 1990s
Aachen Hbf (Aachen Station) (Germany) (DB) on 7th November 1995
Welcome to this new series covering most of the European railway scene spanning a period of around 5 + years from the middle of 1995. All filmed in high quality SVHS and later with a 3 ccd broadcast camera, with full stereo. Countries covered in this series are France (SNCF), Austria (OBB), Belgium (SNCB/NMBS), Czech Republic (CD), Denmark (DSB), Germany (DB DR), Hungary (MAV GySEV), Italy (FS), Luxembourg (CFL), Netherlands (NS), Poland (PKP), Portugal (CP), Locomotive only from Slovakia (ZSR), Spain (RENFE), Switzerland (SBB CFF FFS), (not in this series but into the digital age is Croatia, already uploaded onto the channel)
I hope this series will appeal to the European enthusiast as well as the BR enthusiasts and again feel free to comment on any material or subscribe to the channel to help support it's growing popularity. It may not always be possible to answer every comment or question, especially if it is not in English, but every comment is read and greatly appreciated.

This video being part of my first venture into Germany . I decided to alight on my way back into Belgium, at this wonderful station, rather reminiscent of York station with it's 3 arched roof and curved platforms. I again witnessed several of the Electric Class DB Locomotives and the Diesel class 360. The SNCB Class 1800 Locomotive put in an appearance as well. A much quieter station with the odd freight passing through, than Koln but still interesting. I hope you enjoy the series and if you are from the area or know the area featured that it will evoke many fond memories.
