@@albertfrancois2316 That comes with time and much earned practice. Even the Brits, Jamaicans and US teams have been known to drop or not hand over in the correct way at times and that is crucial if they want to make up for lack of speed… Technique is all and speed !

I think you are missing an important point. Right now are the Commonwealth Youth Games in Tinitad & Tobago. Therefore they have to split their athletes up. They won a silver medal thanks to an insane performance of the third and especially second runner.

@@Lotschi The idea of having a "Commonwealth Youth Games" let alone the Seniors, should have been consigned to the dump years ago. The fact that States in both Australia and Canada has backed out from hosting an anachronistic 'event', speaks for itself and it's not just about the 'cost' 😉

@@jospinvanraat8730 Oh poor kid for sure. I really feel for her. I was playing a semi final at the New Zealand U15 Rugby Tournament. A tournament of the top 20 rugby schools in the country. Nationally televised and everything. We were behind by a point, needing to score, with time virtually up. We had one more shot. The ball passed between players and I thought my teammate inside me with the ball was gonna kick the ball and I was readying to chase the kick, when he passed it to me instead. The ball ended up pinging off my head. Live on TV. And everyone I know watching. Embarrassing. That was the last play of the game and we lost. So I do have sympathy for the girl. I've been there.

Because other countries in the Middle East or the Muslim world do not want to compete with Israel. It's not even uncommon to see athletes in different sports withdraw at world level so they don't even have to shake their hands. And Israeli athletes also have the right to compete somewhere. They do it in the European confederation which does not boycott them.
