Alright here’s my 2 cents there’s a guy in the comment who wants to buy the civic to build with his son give it to him without a turbo let them fix it I lost my dad in nov20 2018 so when I see a dad looking for a project to do with his son it hits close to home keep the 350 wide body and fix it and put the built motor in and boost in on like 5-7 psi and have an absolute ripper then buy an eg hatch put a k and do the twin turbo on it !!! That’s my 2 cents do wtv makes you happy tho and keep up the fire content

Do the civic everyone has done a Z already not really much live for civics

If you get a civic hatch take an ej9 or ek3, you basically get the body of an ek9 type r but with a different engine and without the wing and bumper lips. Ej9 comes with a 1.4L d14a3 or d14a4. The ek3 comes with a 1.5L d15z6 vtec-e (which is an economical version of vtec, it basically transforms you r engine from a 12 valve to a 16 valve when the vtec kicks in) It's my favourite type of civic and now I'm saving up for a civic ek3 to build. (Want to do a b18 turbo eventually and maybe even awd) I hope this could help you in any way

A couple of years ago, I hit a deer in my 02 RSX Type S. It was totaled. It was my first car and it meant the world to me. I was able to talk to the adjuster who cut me a check for just under the total loss amount. I was able to keep my car and have It fixed while still maintaining a clean title. Maybe you can try doing that.

I definitely agree with keeping the Z and making it nice with widebody and replacing everything else with carbon/fiberglass. Also REALLY like the idea of a really clean EG hatch and do a turbo K swap since you have all the mounts already

You need to give Victoria all the support she needs but also try to keep things moving as close to normal as possible. It's good to know her parents are around at the moment as well. Thoughts and prayers are with you. The 350Z I see 2 ways forward 1. Get another body and swap all the good stuff in to it. 2, Rip the bonnet off and the hatch get a dude with some fancy sticks to fix the roof. new carbon hood & hatch. or possibly a carbon roof. 3 the civic your choice.
