Күн бұрынThis is the last vlog of the Kurdistan series for 2019! I loved spending so much time in Iraqi Kurdistan this year and hope to come back soon.
In this episode, I visit Suly, also known as Suleymaniah, the city that the locals love to call the capital of culture, literature and the arts! Here, I go to the main bazaar, check out the book market and fill my tummy at the "Indian Food Market" and the night street food market too. We end the video (and my trip, sob!) with a beautiful Kurdish song, sung by my friend Sina.

I met a Kurd who lives in Iraqi-Kurdistan online. He's so sweet, caring and respectful. He has manners and i feel really comfortable talking to him. He said that he lives in a city, 1 hour and a half from Slemani. He introduced his country to me a lot about the history, culture and languages and honestly, i want to visit Kurdistan one day. @@kesek4554 every country ( or ethnicity ) hates another country ( ethnicity ) but still kurds remain kurds and Kurdistan remains Kurdistan under the Occupation of Turkey ( the biggest enemy of Kurdistan and Kurdish nation ) after that Iran and then Syrians and Iraqis !! Kurds well one day free their country from foreign occupation and Kurdistan well be free a free country !!! Arabs and Turks and Persians tried to divide Kurds based on religion but that didnt work with Kurds bcuz Kurds are one nation every nations has differences but that doesnt means that nation should be divided !!! Kurds stay Kurds regardless of their differences and problems !! the Kurdish nationality and Kurdish culture and history and Kurdish traditions and Language well always unite the people of Occupied Kurdistan

Literally I’ve been to all around the world 47 plus countries, I’ve met an amazing people who were so friendly, and Kurdish people they’re absolutely 10 out of 10 very welcoming people, and of course you’ll see all different people around the world here in Kurdistan, especially Chinese Indian Pakistani Bengali German French and so on I’ve met quite few foreigners people who used to speak fluently Kurdish and I asked how did you learned, and they’ve been here over 10 years Respect to all Kurdish people

I’m from hawler (erbil) but whenever a foreign asks us how to learn kurdish or to know more we will lead them right away to “sulaimani city (the Capital of culture)” they are so smart and have their good ways to make them learn kurdish faster lol we hope u can visit us again ☺️

I can not believe it is Kurdistan!! Whatever I read was full of violence, sorrow, pain & frankly it got into my nerves.. Kurdistan has a sad history of course, that’s correct, but all civilians are just trying to live a peaceful life, just trying to live their lives, being friendly, etc. Every kurd just tries to forget the pain that most of kurds go/went through in all the history, genocides, massacres, etc. Kurds are still trying to be positive and live their lives peacefully, no kurd wants a life full of troubles, we kurds just want to live our lives and have some chai(tea), nothing else ❤️
