The Lions added four quality CBs this offseason, plus get Moseley back as well. That allows Branch to move to safety and use his great talents there with Kerby and Iffy. The secondary is now a strength. And with Hutch, DJ Reader, Alim MacNeil, Davenport, Houston, Paschal, and Comiskey up front applying pressure, the secondary is poised to have a lot of fun this year. And, let's not forget Anzalone, Campbell, Barnes and Rodrigo at LB. This is going to be a really tough defense to play against.

Greatest Lions corner I've seen play is Lem Barney. If you get a chance to see his highlights on KZfaq, do it. He was as good as most offensive players with the ball in his hands on an INT or punt return.

I saw them both in the 60's play for Detroit!! Barney was the best in my opinion. Night Train Lane was known for his neck tie tackles that were eventually banned!! Together they were awesome!!!

better pu than dj reader? I think we, lions fans, were happy with the post season moves once they got reader, I mean I can only hope he's better, that would blow away what we thought about the def, which we know has taken that next step, albeit on paper for now.
