Well...if anyone WAS to justify it RPwise I guess you could call it poetic justice. Emancipating the remaining slaves with the tools of the enemy, just like that Amarrian holder's symbol of office that a Minnie slave used to kill his master that set off the entire damn thing. Religious/cultural iconography for one side, repurposed as a shacklebreaking call to freedom.

Should make it simple for people thinking of starting eve, and say lost ship in first 30 min, due to not really being skilled correctly for the ship. RIP my lovely Hurricane, that I mined all the minerals for and built myself, back before building stuff became easy.

@@Groza_Dallocort This was over 10 years ago, the indy system was a lot different then. T1 then was like building T2 now, even T2 and T3 got easier to build. That is one of those changes I will never forget, as I had just gotten skilled enough to build T3 sub-systems, the need of months of science grinding went away in 1 patch.

I've played Eve in the first lockdown, and it helped me get out of a very very dark place. Tonight I watched this - and to me it brought back echoes of Iain M. Banks' Culture. I wish I had more time to put into living in this Universe, maybe one day, maybe one day. Extremely well done ad. Not many video ads put tears in my eyes.

This was a pretty cool video. Lot of the cinematic shots don't show the actual gameplay or how the world is/functions, but as a marketing video this was pretty good. Nice work whichever team/talented people did this. Keep up the great work.

Exactly. Paid literally hundreds to ccp over the years. As soon as you stop, the game isnt really worth playing any more. It does leave a sour taste in your mouth when the skills you paid for are all greyed out because you cant afford to keep paying for them forever. Kids are expensive, man.

Not only does the trailer feel completely off from what actually playing EVE is like, I think it's also misleading because "play free now" does NOT give you the ability to experience what Mr. Fancy Smoooth Voice is saying. I'm fine with marketing but they should market it as what it is: a subscription MMO with a free to play demo version. Anyways, I'm gonna go look for this free paladin km o7

@George Johnson I spent a lot of time in 2011-2013 playing. Low sec PI solo, Faction WF, null sec Corp, then made our own w-space corp. Had an absolute blast. Miss it like crazy, but I found it difficult to be casual. Maybe when the kids are teens and don't consume so much time 🤣

@@davidjackowski4336 Can't live in a WH and play "when you have a few free moments", but you can do a bit of PI, Research and Marketing, Data Core farming (let them stack up), Inventions, Builds, and most importantly training your toon so when you do have time to really game for a few hours here and there, well you got the skills for doing whatever you wanted. Do you really pay attention to TV when you "watching" a show or is it just background racket while you play on your phone (Getting off social medial will help your life).

Err... unlikely. If you really want to be well known, then you have to start simple. Join a nullsec corp like mine, Fiction, and then participate in all the fleets you can. That will really let you understand how to follow comands before you learn how to give commands.

I played once in 2003 , for about four hours got constantly ganked trying to mine. found out they had free accounts now without the catch like before where it was a temporary account so that was fake free play but now they have permanent free accounts . So I log back in using my ancient old email and i find my old account but its not a free account so i just make a new one next to it but it is nice knowing it still exists.

The coolest and most brutal are the amarr. This guy defines freedom as being locked in his room staring at scenery changes because of an X,y coordinate system making the pixels on the screen change in relation to a tracked "position".

I feel like an update that REMOVED all high sec security for 365 days and allowed missions from the Government to contract players to be Security would breathe a lot of life into this game. Because without conflict, this game is boring as all hell. If you want to make money in a low risk environment, you have 3 options: Mine, Rat or scan. All of which I found incredibly boring. On the flip side, you can go to Null Sec and up your blood pressure by 60 points and risk everything you have everyday. This dynamic is kinda why I don't play anymore. That being said, a big shakeup I think would be really fun.

Last euch gesagt sein das Video hat nur NPC Aktion gezeigt keine Richtige PvP. Und wenn ihr euch das an tuen wollt bringt viel Zeit mit, sehr viel zeit. Wir sind hier nicht bei ein WoW. Wo man sich schnell hoch Grinden kann oder bei ein P2W sich alles erkaufen kann. Die Paladin fliegt ihr nicht in 30 Stunden oder 30 Tagen Aus dauert viel länger.....

I dont even think there should be lvl 4 missions in high sec period. High sec should be for free trade, travel, and noobie protection and thats it. Not isk making.

Fuck - a lvl 4 in lowsec is complete insanity. PVE ships are NOT PVP ships. There is no way you could go into a Blockade mission, tank a room full of pve, and fight off a small gang at the same time.
