As a life long red who comes from Liverpool I’m fully behind the blues for this ridiculously harsh treatment. How are clubs supposed to improve and attempt to make strides to compete with the top clubs if they have their wallets controlled by rules which are clearly favourable to the existing big clubs. Irrespective of that, 10 points for one misdemeanour, which they openly admitted and didn’t try to muddy the waters in the same way that Man City have done, should not have resulted in a 10 point deduction. As a Liverpool fan of nearly 50 years, ever since I was born, and part of a family where there are both reds and blues, I would love it if Liverpool and Everton were the best 2 clubs in the country just like the 80s when the city was buzzing and we had 2 all Merseyside FA cup finals. For either club to do badly is bad for the fans.x the city, the businesses who depend on match day revenue, and it would be a travesty for either of them to go down. I’m sure that Everton will be fine because they have been playing well and are much better than their league position suggests. But if they were docked 10 points then how many leagues are Man City going to be relegated by? Any other punishment for city who lives potentially committed 115 breaches, would be a farce and would go to prove that their is an element of favouritism for the big 6! Come on blues, don’t let the establishment win! Any true scouser is behind you

I doubt that there would be any Everton fans feeling sympathetic if Liverpool had points deducted. We're "murderers" & "victims" in their eyes. Wait until derby day at Goodison and just look at the hatred getting spewed out from the Evertonians.

i'm a season ticket holder at Everton. being going almost regular since 1967, but i was born in Accrington. live in Liverpool but love watching for Accrington Stanley scores and watching highlights on TV. it is life after money making prem. (accrington stanley. who are they? ... EXACTLY!)

@@peterwhitaker4038 I’m a spurs fan but don’t go anymore. Been priced out of the game so I follow my local team now. I can’t relate to the players earning millions. The prem isn’t for the normal fan going to games anymore. Not like it was in the early 90s before all the money came in. Local people don’t count. Just follow your local team, injecting money into local clubs not corporations that own the prem teams.

Why though? It doesn't matter what order they come in, as long as punishment for cheating is dish out in the end that's all that matters. Most of my friends and family are reds, but any blues I have worked with, lived close to, or are related to are bitter, twisted and proud of it. "Murderers" aren't we ?
