The Commando BO1, to me, is the benchmark for guns that are great without being overpowered.

MW3 ACR 6.8 is definitely the best AR to me. Edit: I respect your pick though. MW2 Famas is easily in my top 3.

If there's one thing I've been enjoying about these list videos, it's that it isn't just endlessly listing stats, but it's taking the guns in the context of their respective games. Sure, on paper a gun's stats might look swell, but if it doesn't fit the game it's in or is simply just heavily outclassed by every other gun in the game, you put it lower than a gun that is statistically worse but simply belongs in the game it's from

I know it wasn’t a “good” AR, but that SC-2010 was my favorite from Ghosts. Just felt so good. And the reload animation is sassy.

Everybody slept on the XR-2. That was most definitely my best gun in BO3. The CM901 from MW3 was actually ridiculous as well. Dropped multiple M.O.A.B’s with that thing

I love how he said the An94 was "the final unlock which is what it should be it's the best" then proceeds to put 3 more assault rifles from Bo2 in front of it. To put this into perspective there are 9 ARs in bo2 so by his list it's actually middle of the road

As a veteran MW2 famas user, I can GUARANTEE that thing was OP. I mainly used it because that's what the Battle rifle from Halo was based on

Ik it was broken. But COD4 just one bursting with the M16 was sooooo satisfying. Maybe it’s my nostalgia from being 9 years old at the time but to me COD4 just had the best feeling guns in the franchise. Everything was simple and smooth

The MW3 Scar-L was my favorite gun in that game. I would take on people that were using the ACR and absolutely wreck them with the Scar

I loved using the Odin in MW 2019. Started leveling it for the camo challenge and hated it. By the time I had finished its camos though it was one of my favorite weapons. Certainly not the best in that game though. Still pains me to see it THAT low on the list.

The MW3 M4A1 introduced me to the gun back in the days. I still have a special place for it in my heart, every M4A1 does

Technically the M14, G3 and FN FAL are Battle Rifles, not Assault Rifles. That's a fatal flaw by the devs but they simplified classes.

I remember absolutely destroying with the BO2 SMR. That thing was a laser.

Still to this day, the Scar from bo2 is my favorite gun. It was great at everything and those Iron sights were clean. It was unfortunately slept on by too many people becuase it was over shadowed by the m27 and an94 but those who used it can agree its slapped

The Odin is one of my favorite assault rifles in MW19. Right behind the m13, which WAS my favorite in that game lol

I got the GOAT variant Volk on WW2 pre patch, and it was my favorite rifle to use especially with High Caliber and Extended Mag

BO3 M8 in my opinion is a top 10 AR. That thing was a satisfying to use and absolutely shredded

I knew the Oden would be very low on this list, I play hard core search and with the attachments I use on it, it's pretty much an automatic sniper rifle so I love this gun, Everytime someone complains about hit markers, I'm always like, use the Oden then

The as Val can be much higher. When kitted our that thing is a 3-4 shot laser at any range

Damn, the Tar 21 from MW2 (53) and Amax from MW2019 (50) are my favourite guns of all time! I put a lot of hours into them and it’s ranked that low. This man has no idea how great they are lol.

I remember using the FN Fal in BO1 with Grenade Launcher. I'm not sure why, but I rly liked the setup.

The SMR was inferior to the FAL unless you used it in full auto. The FAL used to be better in that regard too until it got nerfed so now the SMR is the best select fire full auto gun pretty much.

I 100% agree on the MW2 FAMAS. It's by far the best AR in history of Call of Duty. I think I have gotten more nukes with that gun alone, than all the other ones combined. Slap Stopping Power on it, alongside Scavenger and you are basically invincible. It had super-clean iron sights (being the Magpul style flip-up sights), and that left a slot open for customizing the gun. Usually people either used the suppressor or FMJ bullets

If your going off their current state you would know the m16 from mw3 has been buffed for years making it as good as the type 95

I always thought the MW2 Tar-21 was among the best ARs in cod history. Yes, it had high recoil but its DPS was absolutely unreal, I am pretty sure that with stopping power, it had the highest DPS of any gun in cod history. It was arguably overshadowed by the Scar-H which sacrificed DPS and ammo count for much lower recoil, but the sheer power of the Tar-21 gives it a special place no other gun had

Can’t argue stats with anyone, but my all time favourite COD AR is the MW2019 M4. Versatile off the bat. But with a custom gunsmith build, it could be anything.

I understand seeing the MW3 M4A1 so low due to the horizontal recoil but it does hurt a little as it holds a soft spot in being the first gun I got a MOAB with in tdm on Dome.

I know it sucked but I loved the SMR in BLOPS2. Just something about it worked for me. To each his own I guess lol.

When we were in the days of MW2 the FAL was my favorite gun but all my friends hated that gun because it was not automatic. I rarely saw people use that gun and it was slept on in the prime MW2 days.

MW2 Tar 21 is my favorite AR of all time! Got so many nukes with it

I enjoyed using the FAD. High fire rate and you're always reloading yes, but in close quarters you'd rip people to shreds

The BO2 AN-94 was an absolute monster.

I already have to agree about the MW2 F2000. It was fun and solid in the right hands but we have to compare it to monsters like the Tar, Scar, ACR, M4, and even the AK. There was just no room for this thing. Still a super fun AR though and I wish we saw more of it in cod games. Edit: After finishing the video I’ll have to agree mostly. The ACR 6.8 is probably one of, if not the most broken ARs in cod history but the Famas really was nuts. Broken in BO1 and even more so in MW2. Heck you didn’t even need stopping power on it. But I’ll also agree on the ACR 6.8 being higher than the MW2 version. The 6.8 had way better damage with barely any worse recoil. Both are still the measuring stick for laser beam weapons in cod.

Mod2019, AN-94 is a very solid rifle, it's easy to control, kills quick even if you miss the burst shots.

Since I play hardcore, the Oden was go to semi-auto weapon that I used as a sniper.

I will say with the bo2 swat was pretty good if you had select fire full auto. Actually try it it was pretty good

If taking into account shooting the MW2019 AN-94 in successive short bursts to always get that fire rate boost it probably deserves to be higher
