ARTV 6.) Count Your Blessings 5.) Suicide Season 4.) There is a Hell... 3.) That’s the Spirit 2.) Amo 1.) Sempiternal 2-4 are hard to arrange, but the rest is pretty easy to list. Count Your Blessings is way worse than anything they’ve ever done. They became a kickass band from Suicide Season onward. I love all 5 of those albums.

Shadow Moses, to me, is BMTHs strongest song to date. It's one song that you can hear EVERYONE in the crowd singing, it's a song that old fans and new fans can get behind. The overture that opens it and the extended version they use for their concerts is incredibly beautiful and it's just all around the go to BMTH song for me now.

Seen it all before is dull sos crooked young. During sempiternal oli has an issue with not really always sticking to one topic per song, and crooked young is that where in the verses he's screaming about religion and then in the chorus it's a corny all time low esc "we are the stray runaway white suburban kids" bullshit. Love the rest of the album tho

That's the spirit is personally my all time favorite but i can't deny that Sempitertnal is their strongest record by far. Sleepwalking and The House Of Wolves are masterpieces. Great List Jon T-1. Sempiternal and That's The Spirit: Pretty simple if I'm mad at the world and pissed off, Sempiternal. If I'm just sitting around in my room, That's The Spirit. Both are perfect albums in my opinion. 2. Amo: I probably listed this high because it's new. However they pull off many genres on this album very well. Have no idea why Fresh Bruises exists though, great album nonetheless. 3. There Is A Hell: I love the symphonic elements to this album so much. Blessed with a curse is always welcome on any playlist I listen to. 4. Suicide Season: Chelsea Smile, Diamonds Aren't Forever, and Sadness continue to be some of my favorites this band has put out 5. Count Your Blessings: I love Metalcore and some deathcore as well, but this album is a complete mess except for Plagues

Even as more of a metalhead than you seem to be,I’m with you on deathcore. The only deathcore songs I’ve ever liked are Shattered Glass by Fit for a King and Brimstone by Whitechapel. There’s plenty of talent there and I admire how the singers can do some deep guttural growling on so many songs, but overall a lot of it is just noise with little substance to me.

IDontKnowWhatToPutAsMyUsernam e it’s not that I don’t think there’s great deathcore out there. I’m sure there is since I found a song (or two if Shattered Glass counts) that I like. But it’s just not my thing at all. They overdo it on the brutality and the growling style isn’t my thing either. I like the kind of growls people like Mikael Akerfeldt,Randy Blythe, and Joe Duplantier do more than the deep guttural growls a lot of death metal and deathcore vocalists do.

Count your Blessings is the most fuck off amazing and innovative album of its time every song it is filled with pure malice and agression so many emotions compressed into one big package of rage and sadness and the will to express yourself. The sheer messiness and crazy shit that hadn’t been done before on it is what made it so amazing and alien to everyone, metal elitists hated it becuase they hadn’t seen anything like it before. that album changed the fucking deathcore scene it kicked off a big pit of many bands and artists and it defined bmth forever, it’s their most creative and expressive album and every song on it ages like fine wine, the whole album ages absolutely perfectly, I can listen to that shit 20 times a day and not be tired of it at all. I fucking love count your blessings and I’ll never hesitate to batter anyone who spits on it.

Great video, but my list would be a bit different. 6- CYB: I actually really enjoy this album even though its the band's weakest LP in my opinion. There are some fantastic riffs and a few really catchy parts, but Sykes' vocals are just not good, especially the growls. Liquor and Love Lost and Medusa are my favorite songs on the album, and Fifteen Fathoms Counting ranks among my favorite instrumental interludes ever. This album was extremely influential for the deathcore genre, for better or for worse, so I think it deserves some praise for that. 5- That's the Spirit: Pretty much every song on this album is good, but for some reason I just haven't been able to get into it all that much. I feel like it lacks some intangible element that BMTH's other albums possess that really captivates me. It makes a fantastic background soundtrack for driving long distances though. 4- Amo: I think that all the experimentation that the band did with this album really paid off. Each song, even the shorter ones, brings something a little different to the table while remaining familiar and incorporating a lot of the same lyrical themes that run throughout the band's discography. I was kinda iffy on the idea of the band doing an album all about love and relationships, but I think it turned out well. Medicine and Mother Tongue are extremely catchy, Mantra feels a lot like a That's The Spirit track, Nihilist Blues has an amazing dark and ethereal vibe, and Wonderful Life provides a bit of BMTH's familiar heaviness. 3- Suicide Season: SS is a wall-to-wall banger and an absolutely scene classic. Although the band still clearly had a lot of growth left to be made in the songwriting and lyrics department, pretty much every song on this album is enjoyable. The Comedown is a perfect opener, Chelsea Smile and Diamonds Aren't Forever are iconic, Football Season is Over and Death Breath are great metalcore party songs, and the title track is a very emotional ballad that remains the longest track in the band's discography. The introduction of electronics in this album really helped pave the way for the band the explore different sounds, and the switch away from deathcore just as the genre was beginning to peak shows that the band was always one step ahead of the rest of their peers. 2- Sempiternal: I still really love this classic, although I haven't listened to it in quite some time probably due to overplaying it for nearly two years after its release. I don't really have much to say about this that hasn't been said elsewhere a million other times. It's an emotionally charged album that in many ways revolutionized the genre, and it's considered by many to be the band's magnum opus. My favorite songs from this album are Shadow Moses, Antivist, Crooked Young, Hospital for Souls, and House of Wolves. 1- There Is A Hell...: I honestly can't properly express my feelings about this album in words. It came at a very crucial point in my life and served as a gateway to heavy music for me. Every song, from the albums' massive opener, Crucify Me, to the blistering conclusion in The Fox And The Wolf are thrilling, punishing, emotional, and catchy. Although the album largely deals with Oli's addiction to ketamine, it also covers other themes such as love, broken friendships, and depression, but it handles each topic in BMTH's signature dark and moody way. The songwriting and lyrics in this album were a massive step up from SS, and the electronic element that were present in SS play a much larger role. The band also introduces beautiful strings on songs like It Never Ends and Don't Go. Additionally, the guest features on the album were very well done and only added more depth to what was already present. There Is A Hell... also really helped grow the band's fan base and marked my personal favorite era of the band. I could continue to go on and on about this album forever without ever doing it enough justice, so I'm just gonna end by saying GO LISTEN TO THIS ALBUM! It really is fantastic.

Suicide Season I love every one of their albums. Count Your Blessings is the only one I'm not the biggest fan of, but I still like it.

To be honest, I don't think I could rank the albums. Or if I could it would be very difficult. Each album had a different feel and everything about these album makes them amazing in their own right. If I was to try and rank them it would probably be as follows 1: Sempiternal 2: Count your Blessings 3: There is a hell believe me I've seen it! There is a heaven let's keep it a secret! 4: Amo 5: That's the spirit 6: Suicide Season

The 3 metalcore albums are my favorite: suicide season, there’s a hell and sempiternal. I simply love metalcore but if i had to put a list with all of them: 1. There’s a hell- 10/10 2. Sempiternal- 10/10 3. Suicide season- 8/10 great but 3 songs i don’t like: death breath, football season is over and slepp with one eye open. 4. That’s the spirit- 7.8/10 solid 5. Amo- 6/10 meh only mantra and wonderful life 6. Count your blessings- 5/10 meh tell slater to wash his dick is good though. Who agrees ?

I think we all can agree that Count Your Blessings isn’t that good. The entire album besides Pray for Plagues is a huge mess. As a huge Bring Me fan I will proudly say that besides Pray for Plagues and 15 Fathoms Counting there aren’t any songs that I just randomly go “wow! I really want to listen to For Stevie Wonder’s Eyes Only!” To me the entire album was just full of angst and it’s honestly no surprise they ditched it

Tried multiple times to go through There is a Hell and I simply couldn't make it to the end as I found that Oli's harsh vocals simply aren't for me, which is unfortunate as I'd really like to get into the rest of their material as I absolutely love all of their albums since then.
