I don't think the statement is true as much as I wish that it were, however it is very close and if he added a football stadium in and 20 more dates; it probably would rival the viewing figures of Will Smiths film that no one asked for or is interested in. The slap does account for a 25x rise in the volume of ticket sales so Chris Rock is super smart for staying silent; right now his tickets are flying and a week ago the sales were stagnant. In conclusion this statement will probably be correct come the end of the year but isn't right now.
