They ended up finding out so many crazy things about thier dad that they needed to know, and also rewrote thier whole reality. So maybe Hazel knew that would happen, and did it on purpose so they would create a paradox and rewrite everything. Maybe he had a deeper reason for this.

Maybe he knew they would try to find their father, which then it would warn the father that Diego wants to stop the assassination, which is why he put that fake robot. Part of the apocalypse was because Kennedy was saved in the first timeline and he started the war

I think that was hinted in the season 1 scene where he was with a dying woman and he then brought her violin to Earth (Vanya’s violin). Also it’s shown in the comic. Though it’s interesting to see his alien form, in season 1 we still saw him in his human form.

Harlan was a child in 1963 so he’d be old at that time, and he didn’t choose them probably because they already existed so they had to get other kids

Dani Aldana, It’s possible since Reginald did say that he was “expecting to see them”, but the show also did mention that he tried to get as many as possible and ending up with them. Along wih that, he was already busy with Umbrellas a lot. And he possibly couldn’t know who their real parents were when they met at 1960s and having Grace name them. One the other hand, they possibly really could have altered the timeline that he changed Umbrella to Sparrow and was able to offer more for other kids. But, the chances seem like a fair 50-50 lol

The Frankel film is not a reference to the Zapruder film, it's a reference to the Babushka Lady, who appears in the Zapruder film (like the Umbrella Man). She is seen recording the motorcade, but she has never been identified and her footage has never been found.

If team zero is now on a different timeline where their versions weren't adopted by Reginald, that would mean those versions are still on that same timeline. Reginald just didn't chose to adopt them this time, but they should still be out there. So in season 3, all six members of the team zero will have a duplicate in that timeline and they probably wouldn't even know it.

In the comics, Reginald Hargreeves is an alien. Time-travel is not entirely possible for going into the past, unless you want to expand or potentially have your atoms combust. However, you can travel into the future, but likely can’t go back to your present timeline. Also when are we getting the Hotel Oblivion storyline and past Umbrella Academy missions?

one thing that I did notice is that in episode 2 of season 1 when five meets the Handler while her was in the apocalypse and the handler said that the apocalypse was meant to be, so dove said “that’s insane, the end of everything” or something like that and then the handler says “not the end of everything... just the end of something” and name of the last episode of season 2 is “the end of something” idk why i’m typing this, i just thought this was something interesting and i am honestly very proud that I recognized it bc i’m pretty blind to this kind of stuff anyway
