Terrific video, and your Kiki segment was really touching to hear. I plan to do a January ranking for the same reasons you said. I’ll give my opinions on the films I’ve seen: Withnail And I: cool seeing McGann and Grant but it was a bit too quaint for me. My Neighbor Totoro: Super happy and imaginative, although I think they could’ve gone a little further Kiki’s Delivery Service: everything about Totoro, refined. And I too connect with the message. Inception: spectacular, but not my favourite Nolan film Inbetweeners Movie: As a fan of the show, it’s hilarious and a great epilogue Puss In Boots: it’s decent, but doesn’t fulfill its potential in my opinion Inside Out: plot holes do not dampen my enjoyment and admiration for this incredible film French Dispatch: technically brilliant, but lacks a point for me
