On Saturday, February 10th I hosted a Galentine's lunch at a local bar for me and my single female friends. Five were able to make it, and I had special cookies made and gave each attendee a goodie bag with Valentine socks, candy and a rose. We all had a great time!

If you have a psycho family member(s) you’ll completely understand what “setting boundaries” is. Can also apply to psycho co-workers. Basically, these are people who want to take advantage of you, are overly demanding, unkind in how they engage with you, gaslight you…that kind of stuff. Boundaries…meaning, setting up ‘walls’ to limit their ability to negatively impact you. Sometimes the boundary is completely cutting off from that person (can often currently be referred to as “a toxic person”)

I met Erin Brockovich once. Her law firm was considering buying the firm where I worked. It was before I went to law school. I was low level in the IT department. But she briefly stopped by on her tour of the firm and said hi. Didn't end up buying it though.

Oh!!! Some people on Reddit in Canada are making jokes about Galentine but about the CEO Galen Weston who has a quasi-monopoly on grocery stores and prices are getting insane up here. And people were saying Galentive up here is more like 'can't afford a date on Valentine because it's either that or groceries'.

Yesterday I went to the shops with my gal and she wore a pink top and pink bow scarf in a ponytail ( very barbie meets Sandra d). I wore an Autumn toned scarf wrapped around my head with a small bow on the side ( reminiscent of the we can do it girls from the war era) we were rocking them.

No. The doctors don't give narcotics with a colonoscopy anymore, so you " awake" alert and feeling depressed. Happened to me and others.
