Pro tip: if an Irish Pub looks like it was burned down from the outside, you can bet the food and drinks and service are top notch. I don't know why, but usually the places that look like shite are the best ones.

I've been planning a 10 day trip to Ireland in April. I would be spending most of my time looping from Dublin to Cork to Galway then back to Dublin. Good to know their main streets are an important staple for each town. I'm trying to stay out of big cities and just around them! Thanks for the tips!

You should stop by little towns along the way. And if have a chance sheep's head at West Cork is gorgeous!

Cork is amazing. I've been there for 3 weeks last year in March, miss it a lot tbh. If you have time visit Cobh as well (around half an hour away). Have fun x

As regards big cities they are only 1 maybe 2.Cork city will be getting a boundary extention soon which will almost double its population to 200 000 and belfast depending on your definition of ireland is the second largest on the Island.The other cities are just very big towns

Tipperary Town Main Street is not as pretty as the streets shown, it's a bit shabby TBH but there are LOADS of pubs,so please visit and give Tipp a boost,ye'll be welcomed! Go raibh maith agat!

A majority of Irish towns are just about not colourful enough to look nice and just look meh, the tourist towns aren't better than the others they're just better painted
