Thor: Ragnarok was insanely funny to cover for all the terrible things happening. Asgard is destroyed, Hela is killed by her own brothers, the Grandmaster is probably either dead or tortured, and Thanos's ship is hovering in the distance waiting to annihilate the universe. If this movie wasn't a comedy, it would be one of the most depressing films to date. Luckily, the comedic moments really feel deserved because you know these characters and it is, ironically, very grounded. Personally, this realization only endeared me even to this movie.

Here’s how I think of the 3 different Spider-Man actors. Toby McGuire was a great Peter Parker, but not a great Spider-Man; Andrew Garfield was a good Spider-Man, but a bad Peter Parker; an Tom Holland was Amazing at both.

I couldn’t disagree more about Doctor Strange: he’s very emphatically *NOT* the best student after ten minutes. He doesn’t even defeat Dormammu with magic *skill,* but with cleverness.

My favorite is Spider-Man: Homecoming, and I think the reason I love it so much is because it's less about "The Amazing Spider-Man" that's been done so many times, and more about Peter Parker, a fifteen year old kid, who just happens to be Spider-Man.

Emma Baker Yeah, I know realise this. He was 15 in Civil War, and Homecoming takes place just after (though it was released a year later irl) so he’s still 15. What doesn’t make sense is that he’s 16 in Far From Home, which is two whole years (and a five year blip) after Homecoming etc...

I honestly really liked that movie, I think the Ancient One's death scene speech is one of the best in the MCU. And Strange being willing to die for all eternity so long as Earth got to live? UGH! "It's not about you" I adore it, top 10 for sure!

Fred Gunning I agree! So I’ve watched almost all the marvel films on Disney plus and I finished Ragnorok (haven’t watched IW, Endgame, Ant Man and the Wasp or Far From Home) and told myself, this is my favourite Marvel film. I finished Ant Man and I thought that was one of my favourites too.

I enjoyed it more than Cap 2, Idk bucky wasn't enjoyable as a villian. Just an assassin with a metal arm. Not as much conflict and was predictable.

I agree! It is one of my favorites in terms of Marvel movies and the best in terms of Captain America movies. Winter Soldier and Civil War were good, but no where near as good as The First Avenger.

I do believe that the first Thor deserves a higher spot. But unfortunately gentlemen my argument is simply this... I love Thor. Thor is my favourite. Thor is hilarious. Thor is the strongest. Thor is the guy that shows up and says “BRIIING ME THANOS!!” and the movie theatre cheers

i’m not sure i get it either. i remember enjoying the movie at the time but it’s not in my top five mcu movies. i think it was kind of over hyped. it was a brilliant movie in terms of a cultural statement and a well made movie but it didn’t feel like it added a lot to the universe it’s a part of. i liked the characters and the setting but the story wasn’t particularly mesmerising.

Ella Naomi, that’s why people love it so much. The country of Wakanda, the costumes, the cultural impact, people love that but I think people forget Black Panther is an action superhero movie and it has by far the worst action out of any MCU movie and the CGI in the final battle is awful.

I loved Black Panther and thought it was a great movie and a perfect addition to the MCU. I don't think it is necessarily "right" to place it at the #1 spot. It hasn't been out long enough for it to not be placed that high without it coming off as being placed as such just because it's new and you're still riding on the high off having seen it so recently. It needs more time before you can place it as high without bias despite it being a good movie. I'd personally place it still in the top 10 for me but more toward #8 or 7 then potentially move it up after I've sat on it for maybe a year or so.

In my opinion Spider-Man Homecoming is the best, Spider-Man is my absolute favorite superhero. I’ve watched Spider-Man since I was fairly young even when he was played by Andrew Garfield. I also this Tom Holland is the best Spider-Man because of the age and acting skills. 😊

On iron man 3: The emotional turmoil that tony is going through is where SO MUCH of his power comes from. Him not sleeping and building “too many lightsabers” is like a strength based avenger training! Do you think we EVER would have had the nanotech suit without IM3’s obsessiveness? I love this movie, I’d call it my #2 behind homecoming. Yes really.
