yo i got a 1390 without studying, then studied like hell and did it and i was expecting a 1550+ but got a 1310... My advice- sign up for all the SATs you can, and just do a ton of practice tests. Don't do practice, and don't watch yt videos, none of that will help. Just do practice tests and look at what you got wrong trust. Literally just do practice tests that's all, and do a ton.

You couldn't have recommended worse materials to students. Firstly, the big brands (Princeton Review, Kaplan, Barron's etc.) are McDonald's Test prep: cheap and convenient, but low quality. The questions in them are wildly inaccurate as well. Secondly, John Chung's math is completely pointless for the SAT; doing harder problems seems beneficial in theory, but completely useless in practice. To illustrate this, imagine if I told you to practice playing basketball with a higher net and smaller rim than what will be used for the big game. Will it be harder? Yes. However, your mechanics will be borked. Independent offerings like 1600io Orange Book, Erica Meltzer, and College Panda are infinitely better.

Emotions are felt every day, and the rate of their fluctuation varies. Anything that sparks a reaction can dictate the actions we take depending on how strongly something was perceived. Intuitive reactions are a relevant example such as a response to fear because the best solutions to cope or deal with conflict or danger are often made by the person who wants to avoid those types of scenarios. Meanwhile, strong emotions associated with tragedies, hormones, or intense situations can trigger pretty serious, lifelong complications, such as PTSD or depression. These can impact the objectives or motives someone takes to carry on in life and fulfill their purpose. A typical approach to these things is therapy and medication which are effective in improving the obvious signs that caused treatment to begin. Western medicine, a group of medical treatment methods that focus on treating disease, started to become more powerful when it transformed into modern medicine starting in the 19th century. Based on such a recent timeframe, the question is raised: how resilient do you have to be to overcome the challenges of mental and physical stress without tackling it with modern-day treatments whose results can be seen very quickly? In Jesus’s case, He had one mission to fulfill: to do the Father’s will and pay for humanity’s faults once and for all. For the thirty-three years He lived, He had to get used to being rejected, and the emotions that accompany that are not easy to simply put off. The road of His mission was very bumpy and he faced much persecution and tribulation, but despite being put to the test with seemingly difficult questions posed by the religious leaders of his day, and being tempted while fasting, He remained obedient till His death. In fact, the agony Jesus faces in the garden of Gethsemane illustrates how much suffering Jesus had to endure before He would be crucified. He could have given up at that time since “His sweat became like great drops of blood falling down to the ground” (Lk. 22:44). Very rarely is it observed that someone could sweat blood, which is why Jesus, at that point of suffering, was given the ultimate choice to either live till His agonizing death (crucifixion) or to die any other way and call upon twelve legions of angels. But this had to be done, for without the shedding of blood, there is no forgiveness of sin. This is the significance of His crucifixion: the Bible says that no one on this earth is good. Not one person who has ever walked this earth is good (except Jesus). In fact, “If we say we have no sin, we are deceiving ourselves and the truth is not in us” (1 John 1:8 NASB). Therefore we, being bound by the Ten Commandments, have broken them. “You shall not steal”, “You shall not lie”, “You shall not covet”, and “You shall not take the name of the Lord your God in vain” are some commandments to name. We have violated at least one of these, and consequently, we must face God’s justice: death and hell. How can we be saved from that? There is only one explanation, and that is Jesus Christ. 2,000 years ago, God was merciful enough to send His Son to suffer the wrath of God (the Bible says He became sin for us). Just before He died, He cried out, “It is finished.” That means He paid the fine so we could be free. No longer are we condemned when we trust that what God did on the cross was sufficient for our salvation, nor are there any more charges held against us for our sins. There are two things you must do to be saved: you must repent (that is, confess and forsake your sins and perpetually turn from them), and trust alone in Jesus for your salvation (don’t trust that your own good works can save you from what you’re guilty of). You have a promise from the God who cannot lie, who is without sin that he would grant you the free gift of eternal life. And however you feel, God’s love remains the same-and you can trust that “Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, today and forever” (Hebrews 13:8) because He is willing no one should perish but that all should come to repentance (2 Peter 3:9).
