Hundreds audition, but only a select group will secure spots in the Dallas Cowboys Cheerleaders training camp. DCC director Kelli Finglass and head choreographer Judy Trammell oversee the intense audition process and decide which hopefuls will make the team.

Just because you’ve made the team once doesn’t mean your place on the DCC is guaranteed. Space is limited, which has led to some pretty heartbreaking veteran cuts over the years. Check them all out here:

Please make a video on Yuko’s full journey!! She’s a rare example of Asian representation in the DCC. Her story is so unique since she came from Japan and had to overcome language and cultural barriers in addition to all of the challenges of training camp

The amount of girls who choreographed double pirouettes into their routines when they couldn't even do ONE will forever baffle me. I always love seeing strong technique in these episodes, and I feel like the final audition groups have improved SO MUCH from the show's early days.

Holly was the BEST little firecracker they ever had. She was exactly what Kelly described: someone that makes you just sit back and enjoy the performance. She was the total package, even with a wardrobe malfunction. Still a queen.

Nichole Hamilton absolutely ruined it for everyone else. She outperformed literally every single person in that room. She has so much power in her it’s unreal! She is a beautiful force of nature!!

I love how Rachel W. emotes so much when dancing. Everyone always focuses on how beautiful she is, but she’s easily one of the best dancers there. Her solo was extraordinary to watch.
