i mean wheel locks are good for older cars newer cars usually got enough securities already. sure its always best to get a few more though. but if you got a old car just get a wheel lock kill switch, 1 or 2 trackers in separate areas. and if you are into certain mods like suspension air suspension allows you to lower it to the ground making it even harder to steel anything under or let it get towed . Id also reccomend for a car no matter the age but a recoding device like a dashcam that specifically has a red dot that flickers occasionally as it make it seem like its recording 24/7 and will make people not even go through the trouble if a few variations are done at the same time
@alejandrol87353 ай бұрын
There's so many things wrong here: you may forget the combination, it doesn't work with someone pointing a gun at your head, is annoying to use each time whenever you get in the car, if any switch breaks you're stranded, they could just start touching stuff random until it start. Also I'm pretty sure I've already saw a video of some random dude using a flipper-zero to bypass a very similar device. Finally there was a similar device being sold in my country 20 years ago: it was basically a hidden switch that cut the power supply from the battery, but it was short-lived, once the thieves realized they could just pry-open the hood and bypass the switch. Even long before that people would remove the batteries entirely from their vehicles, and it didn't work. Nothing design for deterring thieves has ever work for long.

Its simple button hidden somewhere in the car thats connected to the relay that physically disables starter, fuel pump or spark. The options disabling fuel pump and spark are the best bacause if somebody tries to steal your car they will just think that the car is beoken because it will crank but won't start. Good luck to any thieve trying to steal car with that because its almost imposible that they will be able to start the car. And button can be hidden literally anywhere. The tweaker who did it spent WAY too much time ripping wires apart from under my dash trying to hot wire it, only to be seen and arrested by a cop who drove by and knocked on my door to tell me what had happened. What saved my truck from being stolen was the kill switch I had installed. All it is is a hidden switch that connects to my battery and is hidden under the driver's side door and is bolted to the frame. Without turning it, the truck gets no power. This trick has worked to prevent theft since the 40s. Cost me 10 bucks at home depot for a switch and some wire.

Battery is located in the back next to spare tire well. Can only be accessed through the rear hatch which cannot be opened without power (period).
