It was Germany that saved the Spanish crown from the Communists who were murdering priests and Nuns, it was a German emperor Charlemagne who drove the Islamists out of Spain!

I had a great grandfather that was nearly executed during the SCW by the Nationalist. He had a cousin that committed suicide due to repeated torture from the Francoists. Franco prevented the learning of Basque Don’t excuse one side of malfeasance just because it’s against a side you hate

@@JonMI6 Yes, each side has their atrocities, The Basque fought for separation from Spain, and their own culture and language, I have nothing against that, but I do dislike Communists, Period! If your G-grandfather was a Communist, then Yes, we would be enemies!
