We can all relate to @alisoneroman eating habits (like not eating as soon as you wake up). The writer, chef, and food blogger is a hot beverage aficionada (think teas and coffee), self-proclaimed “cheese head,” and mint chocolate chip ice cream stan. Her meals throughout the day are filled with fresh, crunchy veggies-besides bell peppers…she hates them-grains, and eggs. In this episode of Food Diaries, Allison Roman shares how she avoids showing up in places hangry, why dinner is her favorite meal of the day, and how family sized boxes of Cheez-Its are perfect for parties of one.

I so much prefer the food diaries of chefs/food professionals to the food diaries of random celebrities. It’s just so much more interesting. Please keep inviting folks like Alison to this series!

It titillates me that one of my favorite people and I share so many similarities!!! A) As someone nearing 30, I too pregame with a snack before meeting up with friends so as not be hangry. B) Bell peppers suck!! (anyone else experience bell pepper aftertaste in your esophagus the whole day?) C) Ice cream for after-dinner dessert ALWAYS! I love you, Alison Roman!!

The food in London pubs have come so far! Ten years ago the food in them sucked but I was there again in 2018 and 2020 and most had some of the best food I’ve ever had.

I love coffee also but with cream and sugar. I sometimes like tea depending on how I feel. I grab food when I’m hungry while snacking also. I also love cheez its! I love bowls of rice also. I love going out to lunch a lot also. I love toasted rye bread too. I love going out to dinner, making pasta casseroles, & roast chicken. I don’t like cooked bell peppers either. I love late snacking also. I finish food too quickly also.

My neighbor is a doctor and when I told him that I can’t drink wine (either color) anymore because I can’t sleep and he said that is one of the three allergies to wine. I hate to have to explain that when a guest where wine/ water are the choice :)

My review of this video, TEN OUT OF TWELVE, Because personally I draw the line at mint ice cream, thank u very much. Id rather anything else other mint. She is a good eater!! I love cottage cheese as well but the editor used feta cheese or goat cheese falling into a bowl. Cottage cheese contains loose curds from the whey and is in a liquid/soupy base.
