June is not foo-foo, though. Voudou would be closer if she weren't so matter of fact. "To save money, I bought bones and 6 pounds of underripe avocados, and that's what we're going to eat this week." And it ends up being fabulous.

They don't look like soybeans to me; soybeans are more the shape of a navy bean than these are. These are a roundier shape, like hazelnuts without the seed coat. I vote chickpea. Sorry, June. I hope I'm wrong. I love you.
