What's up BKLF gang! I know some of you are about to get their new KTM 690 SMC R sooo.. thought there would be no better time to get you all excited about all the modifications you can do to your bike to make it truly yours! So here is my version :) Expecting your opinions on the comments below!

How are u liking the power parts seat? I am looking into getting a new seat cause as u know the stock seat is absolutely terrible.. I am looking into seatconcepts comfort seat. Didn't know if you had an opinion

I never got to try the seat concepts but I have heard it is much much better. Only downside imo is that the pp seat looks a little better

@@bklf202 agreed if u going for looks yes 1000% looks better.. I put alot of miles on my bike. Got 2500miles on it now and I got it in February with 2 miles on it

@@bklf202 yea u def putting some seat time in! Have u run into any mechanical troubles yet? I am always worried just because of how these thumpers sound like a bag of bolts rattling inside the motor

do you know how much the bike weighs wet now ? how many kilos can you shave of the bike out of the box with upgrades you think ?

Not sure but quite a lot for sure if you go all out on upgrades and don’t care about legality

Great video! Would be awesome to compare that setup with a huge intake filter, removed cat. no db killer, custom PCV mapping, more Supermoto oriented gearing (15t front, 46rear), maybe for weight saving lithium ion battery, than track day just for fun with a sticky tire.

I do have the lithium battery and 15 tooth now and think the 15 makes a big difference. Got a video on it too! The other mods would also be cool!

that pipe is called a header. you lost power with the new exhaust & air filter box because you opened up how much air can be moved through the cat and reduced backpressure. right now both of those mods are hurting the bike which was already running lean from factory. you could damage the engine running it like this. get a power commander to richen up the fuel range and youll get that power back and extend the life of the engine

They are stock. In Europe they come with LED stock. I think that’s not the case in the U.S. / Canada ?

Yea the front pipe going into motor is the header pipe.

I anodized my swingarm much better than plastic or carbon and a hell cheaper

man that sounds nice but I would not be comfortable to take out the swingarm myself I think and don't really have the tools either unfortunately. Hopefully in the future though because that does sound like it makes the bike really unique!

@@bklf202 well the garage did the unistall and they knew a company Who did it. Maybe your garage knows someone too and make a good price ? Anodisd is beter because from rockchip it doesnt get damaged or change color. Plastic does. If you wanna see how it looks, i can send you picture and do you live deep in germany else you can go to my dealer ( it was very cheap and dont right )
