Your video about the EVA1 was the reason I bought it in May of this year and it has been great. I've used it on a few commercial shoots and will be filming a documentary with it early next year. I've since bought the sigma 18-35 1.8 and a sigma 17-50 2.8 which served me really well on all jobs. I also rigged it up into a shoulder configuration. Still amazed by the image it produces. Keep on with your work, its highly appreciated🤗

Bro, our channels couldn’t look any more different but man, do we have similar perspectives!! I consider mine as a diary- similar to your scratch pad approach, I’ve gotten a ton of freelance work from putting myself out there. And my ethos for YT is the path of least resistance… bc my value is in the authentic freelancer pov I provide. Im stoked I came across your channel. I have less subscribers and I’m about 1.75 years in. The growth potential is there. Looking forward to digging into your work and seeing upcoming content. New subscriber.

When you talk about the friction of creating a video, I empathize so much! I am a perfectionist and when I film or import the video, It's hard for me to edit it because I want to get the best result out of it. When I let go of that it's freeing and it seems like the video is creating itself. I hope it makes sense for you too. About the backlog...i have at least 10 videos to edit and put on youtube, it seems overwhelming but when I watch one of your videos I know I am on the right path. I can look up to you for a good story and great images for inspiration. Thank you for being on KZfaq and Insta with us!

As someone who used to do gear reviews the not turning down gear mistake definitely resonated! Really interesting to hear about the channel and growing one now, love the vids btw nice change of pace to a lot of channels at the moment who try to just hit every tickbox of what you “should” do. Maybe I’ll get back on the KZfaq’s too cheers for some inspo.

All I can say is DO IT! It's a LOT of work to do it regularly - but I think very creatively fulfilling if you use it as a scrapbook or somewhere for your experiments to live

Yeah, I think you were commenting on some of my early sample footage / short docs vids before I even got into things properly! Seriously, having people dropping comments on those early vids encouraged me to take a chance and jump in front of the camera, so I thank you for that!

Absolutely loved seeing your growth over the year or so dude, and relate with you on so many levels and share alot of the same goals! KZfaq is an enigma that I'm slowly getting my head around too, but I don't think I will ever fully grasp it hah You'll hit 20k no problem with the quality of content your putting out. Have a wicked christmas break - We need to finally meet up at some point early next year when im down your neck of the woods!

The Canon T3i can still make a sweet image. I love the idea of a "that old camera now" series. Especially with your experience and ability to make a nice image. I think that you would be able to clearly demonstrate the fact that the "quality" of an image is way more about how one makes an image and how it builds a bridge between the story and the viewer.
