Greninja is a very popular character in Smash, but not an easy one. Therefore i believed a high quality edited guide on the froggo would be a very good start for a few players.
He is currently one of the coolest characters in the game imo. and I hope you guys enjoy this as much as i do.

Well constructed! Only criticism I have of that one is the description for uptilt. Should definitely note that it's a disjoint and gets great use out of being an anti air, rather than running up and using it as a combo starter. Also, you downplayed downsmash just a bit. It hits people that are ledgehanging for too long or have regrabbed, which is a very good ledge tool!

I’m a Greninja main in elite smash, I would like to disagree with “lack of kill confirms”. His down tilt is OP because there’s so many follow ups off of it. You can do dragdown combos to do confirms off of it into down tilt and so fourth. I play with a friend who mains ken a lot so I’ve memorized over time that Greninja can kill at 83%. That combo is dash attack, drag down up air, which sets them into a tech situation where you can do multiple things depending on where you are at in the stage. You can jab, jab, f smash if you are at ledge, or jab, jab, down tilt, f air at ledge. If you’re mid stage you can do multiple options. Can could down tilt, up smash, soft nair, f air, or a lot of other things. He has a lot of kill confirms but it takes a lot of time to fully learn how to apply them.

A good opponent won’t miss this techs very often so if you choose to use the drag down up air, the best confirm is immediate down tilt into whatever you want to finish or follow up with. The biggest issue I ever have with greninja is many of his combo starters are very DI-able

@@colbyclay5911 yup matchup knowledge di can kill his combos, you have to di chase throughout the game unless you get down tilt up smash or down tilt short hop fair. But upsmash doesn’t work on plats anyway

Pretty good guide :) I would add that DownSmash is used to cover 2 frames and hit opponents hanging on the ledge passed their invincibility. Also, even though you showed FThrow and Bthrow killing at 180%, Fthrow kills much earlier than that. It can kill opponents at 130% at the ledge. Earlier if they DI away expecting DownThrow Fair.

I’m not Completely sure of What You are pointing out, but What I Can Guess is that you’re pointing out to Something called RAR (Reverse Aerial Rush) there are plenty of Videos on it!

I disagreed with what he said about Greninjas confirms. I think Greninjas confirms are extremely reliable due to the fact that he has many of them at percent varying from 90-140. Some examples are: Weak nair Up Smash, Weak Nair Fair, Dtilt Usmash, Dtilt fair, Dtilt uair, utilt uair, bair 1-2 reverse dtilt Upsmash just to name a few. Greninjas bait and punish game is the best in the game to conditioning your opponent is extremely good. Per example if my opponent likes to shield grab at ledge I can nair on his shield and since landing nair has such little end lag I can dtilt upsmash or get a punish off of him shielding. I also kind of disagree with his remarks about his recovery because you have so many tools you can use such as mixing up the angles you can do. There are 3 common angles greninja players use and that's the v the less than greater than and the L. He also has shadow sneak as mix-ups. Other than that I quite enjoyed watching your guide.

I'm probably overthinking this but did you choose Samus purposely when you showcased Greninja's dash attack because of it's combo ability. And Samus had one of the best dash attacks in 4

is greninja worth making as a main? i love the character but everyone only has negative things to say. i wanna be able to put a ton of hours mastering a character and i feel like greninja is def a character you need to master. i like greninja, megaman, roy but i feel like greninja is the most interesting.

there are negatives but he's definitely a powerful character despite that. If you like combos and fast, mid range poking, you'll enjoy playing him for sure

A disjoint is basically a move that is not connected to the characters body. Like a Sword for example. You can’t hit a Sword, cuz the opponent won’t be damaged. But you Can hit Marios moves as They are his own body. Greninjas Forward air is for example a very decent disjoint. Clinical means that They Can finish off Stocks Quickly out of nowhere
