Be careful of avoiding that which is hard
Sacrifice is Required. Heroes...
Odin - his eye for wisdom
Thir - his hand to chain the wolf of chaos
Abraham - his son, to end all sacrifice of sons
Chose your sacrifice or it will be forced upon you. No chosen suffering = no values. Do what is hard or accept that you shouldn’t win.
Are you willing to pay the price? There are few shortcuts for the most important things in our lives - health, relationships, a beautiful home, meaningful work on problems you care about
Hi, I’m Conor Neill, I speak and write about Persuasion, the art of Moving People to Action. I have the privilege of being father to two great little daughters. I live in Barcelona, Spain.

Thanks Conor, once again, for this insipiring video. Life teaaches you that all the time. No pain no gain, as the saying goes! We need to put focus everyday on what it is relevant and a top priority for us in our lifes. Easy to say, difficult to execeute given so many distractions we have around us in the digital age with unlimited ways to be notified,, informed, reached or connected with anayone and everythting. Focus and flight mode activated (sometimes) in our devices is my success recipe.

Interesting, Both real goal and fantasy are important: real goals provide direction and steps for progress, while fantasy goals can inspire creativity and ambition

Conor, I've been following you for a long time. Your video about Cassandra (skepticism) the best presentation I've ever seen. Thank you Conor.

I was about to denigrate some of the things you said, Conor. You saved the day with your later words, "It's the journey that's really more rewarding than the money in the bank." All this talk about sacrifice and suffering...couldn't go along with all that. Pain and suffering are not the same. One's of the body, the other of a mind trying to escape what IS. If we don't gain at least some positive feelings out of the journey towards the goal, then it might occur to us the goal just isn't worthwhile.

Great . Timely reminder. I am committed to walking 210km every month by walking 7km per day. I took inspiration from your goal of completing 100km every month. No fantasy goal.😁
