deonta thomas Blade wasn't a Marvel movie. Marvel sold the film rights to Blade to a separate studio. In fact, they changed up Blade in this movie a great deal from his comic book counterpart, but the changes were so bad-ass Marvel changed the comic book version to match the version in these movies.

They really didn't change Blade that much in the movie from the comic when you compare it to the cartoon version of him. I mean they made Blade white and he was pretty bad at getting the vampire in Spiderman.

Tony M; Nah, Blade was 10 times better. The Blade films made after the first one are only "bad copies" (Only my opinion).

*Blade 1-* Classic. This one cannot be touched nor can it be matched. A very memorable night club introduction to the vampires, and an incredibly badass introduction to Blade who honestly kicks complete ass from start to finish. Strong female lead (Karen), a charismatic villain (Frost), and all of the other memorable support characters, like Quinn and Mercury. This is the best film of the trilogy. The acting was amazing on all fronts! *10/10!* *Blade 2-* Not as strong as the first, and a lot less "gritty", but still enjoyable. Blade still kicks ass, and Whistler never disappoints. Unfortunately, no Karen brings it down. She played off of Blade well. Dary- I mean, Scud was a nice addition, but I wasn't crazy about Nyssa. For some reason, there was no chemistry between her and Blade; there's no push and pull like there was with Blade and Karen, but she was still likeable and her death was poignant enough (not enough for tears). The villain was boring though...come on, no one compares to Frost and his memorable sidekicks! *8/10* *Blade 3-* I'm biased. I love this film. It was the first Blade movie I watched. Blade is still Blade, so of course I love him. It goes back to being kind of scary like the first one, a bit gritty. I love Ryan Reynolds and Jessica Biel, and they play off of each other so well. Ryan's dialogue made me die of laughter (you cock juggling thunder cunt!). Blade plays off them by being in character as usual, and the film is pretty funny as hell to me. Dracula and Danica are honestly so entertaining. A major step up from the boring guy in the second one. Whistler's death was upsetting, but hey...he had to die at some point...plot armor only lasts for so long. And that scene where Dracula kills that blind mother felt like the series went back to it's scarier roots. The ending was kind of saddening, and there wasn't enough closure for me, but at least Blade is still alive. *9/10* (again, biased).

+Stephen Flint There would've been no Blade film without Snipes. One of the problems with rebooting it is that there's no one that could replace him. The closest thing is Michael Jai White and you might as well get Snipes back if you get him.

I thought it was meh, but I hate how unfocused the plot it is! First it's a story of someone who wants to be different, then it's a romantic comedy between a bee and a human being, then it's a 'save the hive' story that takes place in court and THEN it changes into a disaster movie for some reason and it ends with what would be the ending to the first plot line as if he actually learned anything! But yeah, it DESERVES to be sinned!

He was basically Wade Wilson in that movie. That's how he discovered the character, and became obsessed. Fast forward to 2016 (past X-men origins), and he finally got his movie. Without Blade 3, Ryan Reynolds would have never discovered Deadpool.

He´s pretty funny in the Blade review too like sort of kind of just forgetting to bitch and moan about how not a single vampire in neither the opening or end fight scenes mange to lay one finger on him. But when Nomak doesn´t get hit by a single bullet that´s sinful as shit.

Not a lot of garlic weapons out there, but silver swords have been a staple of vampire lore for about a century. I don't know anyone on earth who knows what a vampire is who would ask if the rope was garlic. I mean, clearly, right? They don't explain that his boots are made of leather and rubber, but you can kind of guess they aren't made of potatoes and sponges.

I thought the biggest sin them discovering how extremely effective flashlights are against these creatures but never actually using them past the middle of the movie. Instead they used... guns which they know are useless. Just carry a large bright lamp with you and you're good, lol.
