I'm orbit in korea, and I, and almost of korean otbit think that Not Friends MV is VERY DEEP about Loonaverse. Ryan said: "i studied veeeeery hard about Loonaverse for this MV." on internet loona fan communnity. it's the perfect clue about relatability with loonaverse and the MV. and there is so many clues about Lonnaverse. for example, Yves eat an apple, and she goes to somewhere. and more things. Most of korean orbits predict the MV is "explanation" about Loonaverse, not new story of loonaverse.

i feel like we're missing something about Heejin here. notice when the mv ends with their logo loona, there is a hot pink slash (/)(we can see the same thing at the beginning of the mv on the bullet that she shoots), then we have two heejins in here, one in red plaid and a hacker, the other in white who shoots Ryan. and then the first trailer for this song had heejin and not the others, also in another teaser its just her swinging on a blue swing alone. so theres a lot of focus on her. and then at the end the moon changes from a blueish whitish tinge, to a more pinkinsh one. food for thought?

the biggest reference that I got was for olivia hye (the wolf howling in the end and the yves car scene reminded my of the why not? MV) I do think everything is more of a reference to the loonaverse then a actual part of it, but if it is or if it turns out to be it's own thing (some kind of side story or something) olivia hye will probably be in the next one. also chuu because of the petals

here's my thought , so in PTT there's like mirrors in the hallway , what if all of this is just a reflection . And not to mention about the moon turning into a purple-ish color maybe it's the calling from the other side of the mirror and purple represents Choerry. So my thoughts are Choerry is calling them from the other side of the reflection 🪞

I think that the locations and the order we were shown the members is super important. Heejin is seen only on the building always at the begining then we see her going down a slide and is found by jinsoul, and only after that is that we see her on differente locations at "ground" level. Yves is seen ONLY inside the building, from the moment she is introduced it makes it seen as she was there even before she came out of the elevator. Kimlip is seen ENTERING the buiding, catching up to yves and fighting her making you think she was at "ground" level and then entered the building. Last, Jinsoul is ONLY seen at "ground" level, dragging heejin down with her. Perhaps you could put together the narrative that there were two teams team 1 with heejin and yves who where ON the building, heejin on the top with her sniper and yves who went down to confront whoever entered. And team 2 with jinsoul and kimlip, with jinsoul staying on ground level while kimlip enters the building to fight against yves.

Few more things to add. Heejin is wearing same dress from PTT first concept photo (one with curtains). The end scene where they're on carnival rides reminds me of Heejin's teaser photos for ViViD

Is there something about Kim lip on the motorbike doing circles around Jinsoul that is over red neon lights? like I think it is showing the influence of Kim lip on Jinsoul cause she had to take her place on ptt. Also is Yves scene in the elevator related tu Chuu? Cause that confetti remind me of Chuu's Heart Attack mv ending scenes.

My theory is NOT FRIENDS follows the same timeline to the original LOONAVERSE theory. But because they reset the loop in So What and rearrange some stuff in Why Not, the girls' position changes, and some are being forced to conform. Notice how guns are always pointed at the girls, especially at Yves biting the apple. Someone is trying to take control on the LOONAVERSE, these batch of girls are rebelling. The mastermind is not their friend. My other theory is that they are finally against using each other in following the same loop. Jinsoul and Heejin switched in this side of the loop, but at the same time, they are doing the opposite. Jinsoul is trying to meet all the girls, but she is doing it by force. Heejin on the other hand is being watched (just like Jinsoul in SITR), but instead of finding the Odd Eye members to combine their powers, she is hunting them. Instead of joining together to become one, they are forcing each other to rebel against the timeline. They are not friends anymore.

OKAY i love this video but i think this whole talk about if its part of loonaverse or not is so cool because if you look at how the video started, how the clip is actually reversed(also the LOONA/ logo being at the end to support this), you can look at this as an ALTERNATE TIMELINE Heejin created by killing the man. that's why there are two versions of heejin in the MV (the one in the white dress and the one being interrogated by Jinsoul. I think Jinsoul and Kim Lip, given their abilities, were trying to fix the timeline and they have to capture Heejin and Yves to do it. This is like their LOKI series tbh but the whole mv seems like it's not one continuous narrative. Like we see a clip of Heejin captrued by Jinsoul but afterwards we see her sniping Jinsoul and then Jinsoul catches her and back to being handcuffed. I think what happened was Heejin shot the man, and then took the sniper riffle (that you pointed out in the room while Heejin is running) and then the following scene is her on top of the car and Yves drifting around her. Then thats when Jinsoul and Kim lip felt that they ruined the timeline so they went out to find out who did it. Heejin went on a run when she found out Jinsoul is looking for her. But she's caught and Jinsoul finds out Yves helped her with her plan so Jinsoul sent Kim Lip to look for Yves(that clip where Jinsoul was interrogating Heejin then it cuts to Kim Lip with a gun just not doing anything but be pretty and gorgeous). So the whole fight scene is just Yves trying to out run them but during that Heejin escapes and thats the whole scene with her and the loading laptop and she turns around and shoots Past Heejin(the one in the dress) so the whole timeline never happened. Since the alternate timeline never happened, Heejin never made it to meet with Yves in the carnival and Yves got caught alone (scene where she's eating the apple) and Jinsoul and Kim Lip never went out to look for them.

1. the black rose could represent go won since every member of yyxy's fruit is part of the rose family except hers 2. like yves circled around heejin's car, olivia hye was also circling around with her car in why not 3. in some cases, people may call jinsoul the villain of the loonaverse. all of them used guns in the mv and jinsoul was probably the start of it all. she probably took heejin to manipulate her into joining her side. heejin didn't agree to this and decided to assassinate independently. kim lip was already independent and was rebellious when it came to this. yves was sinned for betraying eden and couldn't live her life happily so she decided to take revenge and join heejin since jinsoul was evil and she and kim lip were enemies. in the car scene, yves was circling around heejin's car while having no clue where she was. she couldn't find heejin because of her curse and decided to start her own force, hoping heejin would find her. this wouldn't be possible because heejin was taken by jinsoul and yves would have to continue her own force.

My theory is that all the girls have something to do with Olivia Hye so they are all fighting over her..? There were so many references to Hyejoo, including the staircase and the car donut.
