Great podcast 😊. After chemotherapy, radiotherapy was a breeze. The radiologists at my hospital were second to none. It will leave you tired, so listen to your body and do rest.

I was put on a new regime for radiotherapy, I only had to have 5 sessions, so just one week. I thought it was pretty easy but my rib has been really sore ever since, every bra I’ve tried is uncomfortable. I can’t stretch out my left side as well as my right side now. Anyone about to go through this, don’t underestimate how exhausting it can be, I fell asleep every afternoon for about 3 weeks afterwards

Having suffered with frozen shoulder following the Covid vaccine, and struggling with it for nearly 12 months, I had a course of physiotherapy and it worked like a charm. It was no quick fix and took a good 6 months before I started to have normal movement back. I couldn’t even reach my arm behind my back to do my bra up. Having had a mastectomy last year on the same side, I was religious about doing my post operative exercises as having had frozen shoulder once, and suffering horribly, I knew it was a side effect. Glad to say I’ve had no further issues since. I can’t stress how important it is to do your post operative exercises to help avoid this debilitating condition.

Learned a lot from this thank you. I've had lots of wound issues after my surgery on 22nd Dec, so only have my planning appt. for Radiotherapy on 24th May so I will be over the 20 weeks by the time I have my 3 weeks of Radiotherapy. Hopefully I don't miss out on the benefits having it so late

Had a week of radiotherapy last December…4 months ago…….my left breast has swollen massively, breast care nurses don’t think this is edema . In the last few weeks the left side of my collar bone has also swollen…not fluid or soft, but the actual bone end..is this normal ?
