@@Shivanshshrinet May be 4x4 will be expensive but AWD is much cheaper than that. And XUV isn't a SUV either in the basis of Suspension, ground clearance etc. Tata should bring AWD as an optional more likely in the mid varient for affordable price.

Hamare yaha northeast mein jyadatar roads toh landslides ki wajah se kharab hi milte hai and FWD bohat mushkil se hi chal pate hai jaha AWD ya 4x4 asani se chalte hai. isiliye yaha Duster bohat hai jo AWD ke sath sath affordable bhi hai. But main toh besabri se Jimny ka wait kar Raha hu.

Harrier/safari has better power to weight ratio than any xuv700 versions. So harrier/safari will give better mileage any day than xuv700. Then comes the safety features. Safari has 12 esp modes, corner stability control, hill hold, roll over mitigation throughout the range. The advantage of range rover d8 platform will be understood in terms of reliability over the years. Not in 2 or 3 months. It gobbles up broken roads way better than any in competition. Xuv700 has features which are mostly gimmicks. You will forget them in 6 months, if you do not intend to show off. ADAS of xuv700 is wobbly at best. Unless 70% of Indian roads are fully access controlled expressways, good luck with adas. Do not judge a car, especially an SUV, based on bogus KZfaq videos of drag races, made by protein induced spoiled brats. Good luck! PS : If you really are an off road enthusiast, go for Mahindra Thar or better, Force Gurkha. Force Gurkha has performed better in extreme cold conditions, (Spiti winter), than Thar.
