Just look at the graphical gap between GT2 and GT3.Really impressive.And I remember how impressed I was by GT2 back in the 90s when I saw it for the first time. But nova days every game is graphically good and you can’t be so impressed as before.

The gap would be even bigger if real hardware was used. The PS1 footage is made to look a lot nicer than it actually does.

This car is essentially 21 years old and still looks modern vs what's on the road today. It's performance and handling are lost breed in this world. Sexy AF. And they're getting pricey to buy used now.

For a 32bit system with very limited power (least powerful console of its generation), Gran Turismo 2 has absolutely amazing graphics! The 3D model shape of the S2000 looks very well detailed and sculpted! the sound is also very convincing and realistic! Frame rate also great, although GT3 is the king on that department!

I think the graphical jump from the PS1 to PS2 was enormous. From there onwards, graphical upgrades seems a lot smaller.

Graphics on the PS3 era doesn't looks as polished compared to Gran Turismo 4 and GT Sport. I had a bit of a shock when I played GT6 for the nostalgia after playing GTS for so long.
