Great video! One thing missed from Sonic 2 - It was the game that introduced Sonic's ability to transform into Super Sonic using the Chaos Emeralds.

Quick note: 10:21 sonic team didn't develop sonic 2, it was sega's technical institute, developer yuji naka left sega for being underpaid but he was convinced by Mark Cerney (the guy who directed the ps1 spyro games and made the knack series) to join S.T.I aka sega's technical institute in America, naka was convinced and joined with other members that left sega, communication was difficult but they managed to create one the best platformers of all time

One player character controlled by a player and another controlled by either another player or AI. Sonic The Hedgehog 2 has it, and so does Little Nightmares 3. But there is one difference, why would Low and Alone compete.

Early sonic games had great music! I was obsessed as a child from the first time I played my cousin’s sega genesis.. I was lucky enough to get the sonic 2/ genesis bundle and he’s been my favorite character ever since

Well great vid bro it cover intresting stuff on sonic's eraly years from his first actual appearance, to his rise in popularity and some stuff in development while I have my issues with sonic 1 on genesis and sonic 2 on game gear the other 2 great in my eyes and sonic 2 in my opinion is one of the best imporved sequel of all time

Fun fact: Sonic The Hedgehog was the final game to release on the Master System on America. Sonic 2 made its way to the Game Gear 1 month before the Genesis. The game was exclusively released on the PAL region. However, the Master System is region-free, so you can play all 8-Bit Sonic games!

Fun fact: Sonic the Hedgehog 2 for the Master System and Game Gear had a level called " Green Hills ", it was actually a translantion mistake, since the level should be called " Green Hill ", like the one in the original game.
