Hi there! As it is such a soft shoe I would say unless you want a super baggy pair then you're definitely best to go for street shoe or for performance a half size down. This is definitely a snugger fit at first but they stretch enough around your foot after a few sessions in them to nicely mould around your foot. Let me know if you want any more information! @@thesii213 they are the softest shoes I've ever seen or used and would say they perform well considering this but wouldn't be my first choice for it outside bouldering of slabby smear problems with the odd edge. I did notice that sensitivity made them a bit tougher on the toes too when things get micro which is worth keeping in mind!

I have some friends who like them on a board but I personally prefer a slightly stiffer shoe for boards. The Zenists are incredibly soft which is great on the sensitivity on smaller holds but for steep boards specifically I prefer a medium stiff midsole a bit like the Evolv Shamans as an example
