I can certainly do that, it is a good idea for the shorter videos I will be aiming for in the future. It is fairly rare to see a march size book on a PvP general and for Li Shimin i would recommend a ranged attack, hp and range increase

This general is good for attacking players that are using lots of ranged troops and have high buffs on ranged. This means you want to buff yourself, with gear, refines and skill books into ground stats as much as possible. It is not usually a good idea to mix multiple troop types in with a general like you are mentioning. If you do not yet have a general that is very good at ranged PvP AND a good defense general, you will be wasting your time on investing in trajan just yet, although he will be great down the line when more people in your server are using large amounts of ranged.

Jadwiga is not an end game wall defense general as much as gustavus, tran dao, kiet, Joseph e Johnson but she is okay.. archer tower duty and any duty only have a couple generals that have any special uses, such as ban chao. Otherwise any general that meets the requirements for duty are going to work the exact same, as trajan is good for ground PvP i do not recommend having him in a duty

apologies for the confusion there, I meant that she is good just like gwanggaeto. Attacking with her will be better however she can be a defense general also if needed. The debuffs work in all positions that allow a general to be a part of battle, in subs that fight, on the wall or the general leading the army to attack. They are better in subs if they aren't needed elsewhere as it means you can use "better" generals to attack/defend while also getting the debuffs from a subordinate city.

This skill on Attila as well as the General Amir will increase all troop type's load in any march. This means you can gather more with the same troops, or at the least be able to send less troops to gather which is safer. Also this general is typically used to have an easier time in stealing resources from enemy players by first killing them with a better PvP general, then using Attila over and over to steal everything effectively.

I am unsure of the exact wording I had used there but I will explain in more detail here. When a general is leading an army they will only lead the troops they are being marched with. This means sub mayors with "leading army" will only have those stats applied to that particular subs troops, however REDUCES stats for generals are applied to the enemy, not your army.. so they STACK with each other against the entire enemy army. This is why I currently utilize Nero, cixi and Andrew Jackson in my sub cities (with duplicates of each) to create over 400% TOTAL debuffs. I appreciate the support on my videos and can answer in further questions you have!

Evony Guides Hi - this might be a silly question but do the debuffs only work if the sub city is ticked when you go into battle? I tend to isolate mine so I don’t wipe them out if things go against me.

@@amandastiltz7396 They will only work in defense when ticked on in the subordinate city tab, you can at least leave your first subordinate city ticked on as it cannot be attacked itself (not on the world map). When attacking and selecting your march you must also select these subordinate cities for the effects to work. If you are afraid of losing the troops of subordinate cities, they always die so don't worry about that. Although obviously ticking subordinate cities on can leave you more vulnerable in PvP defense. I just wanted to also note it tends to be harder to see notifications from replies to other peoples comments so in future try to create your own comments so I can see them! Good luck!

If you would prefer to use minamoto because of his increased range that would be fine, although gwan does offer a balance between siege and ranged which go well with one another. Minamoto is going to be slightly better but not a huge amount, and mostly will show itself when you get dragons. Gwan can still be used as a defensive general (walls) if you don't have other great options for that, while using minamoto for attacking other players. It's all dependent on if you are willing to start again or not, even if it will only pay off in the long term.

Yes, all de-buff generals will stack upon each other, even if a duplicate. Robert Lee does not work in multiple subs or even in the main city, if a sub mayor. He will only count for the singular sub that he is in, therefore being fairly worthless imo

this guide is mostly fine however you can find updated general guides for specific uses on my channel that are newer. The methodology is taking the base stats, skills, specialties etc and their availability to free and/or paying players. I try my best to make sure there are options for both however the ones that require $ or lots of hard work in game to get tend to be a lot better. This means sometimes generals shown may not be the literal top generals as a lot are hard to get

these are top tier generals and although your alfred might very slightly be outclassed by generals it isn't much and therefore you can use these generals to create a good attacker for each troop type, remembering to add in the siege with ranged for alfred. Although mounted can be used in PvP do keep in mind in general you want to avoid this and so roland is the best choice for boss monsters primarily

The best thing to do is just complete each event to the best of your ability, participate in world boss and undead each week. Attacking or joining boss rallies from your alliance all week as well as playing the battlefield event and so on.. collecting up those skills and disassembling them like you said

Baibar and li shimin will be with you for life most likely. Great generals. Alexander the Great is the number one thing people get wrong, so many people waste time, effort, and resources on him and it is simply not worth it. I suggest that you keep him for archer tower duty or until you can get a couple other generals to use, then perhaps sell him. Black prince actually is not all that bad and can be used for some time either for attack or defence general on the walls. However, he is not 100% end game general if you really needed the gold. I suggest for the most part keeping any given general that you get until they can be replaced, only put a little into them and just wait for those better ones, and then sell the old ones.

Black Prince makes a decent defense general. The increase on archer attack and reduction on mounted makes him good with what your likely to get hit against early game. late game you can move him to a duty officer.

Although sub generals such as these are great to have, only debuffs will do anything worthwhile.. therefore general levels, stars etc for these generals is not going to be a priority. These generals are only going to get worth out of ach gear (red) that have debuffs so don't bother with that also.. in terms of skill books any Subordinate city specific book will do, but again aren't a priority. The main thing with sub generals is the general themselves and red debuff gear

Although baibars is good for bosses due to his luck skill being basically a better version of cleopatra, he isn't generally used as a main choice for actually killing bosses, rather joining alliance rallies where someone else is doing the killing. However you can go ahead and add mounted attack hp and march size/mounted defence

Thanks for the comment and watching my videos! Those two things you mention seem great, a good start to research power and a very nice general it seems! However those people are correct, keep level and troop tier matter, especially when taking into account you may be playing for months. It is important to get buildings ahead as soon as you can. Tier 10-13 troops are very important to get to when possible however sometimes it can be hard for a new, non-spender. Im sure you will be able to work out a goal for yourself that can be completed in the short term but I do recommend at least keep 25 if you can manage. Although you are right that generals and research are very important too!

To unlock that skill it notes that the mayor must be a historical general to activate it. There are no blue historical generals available, but i have heard something about non historical generals working in some cases, is that what you are referring to?

In reality the generals available in the tavern for bosses are quite inferior to ones that are available to those that spend on the game or have been playing long enough to earn them through events. The better generals are roland, martinus etc that are not available in the tavern. Although if you have to use the tavern to obtain historic generals khalid or takeda will be your best bet as they have more than one buff, meaning you can add an additional attack skill book to them, unlike washington for instance. If you are asking for a great general to invest in, just know the others ones, even if you spend a lot, may take a while to get. Therefore invest in what you already have, if you believe it to be the best for now

There are slight differences that set each one apart although you will always be fine with roland, martinus and Hannibal. I was in a similar situation with only having takeda then i got a barbarossa which is better however not quite enough to put all that effort into just yet, but in your case you're set!

Ban Chao in the archer tower will not see any benefit from adding additional skill books to him so avoid this as well as adding gear to him. You may use my general leveling and cultivation videos to find out more on how to increase your generals base stats (leveling, upgrading star level and cultivation) easily.. by doing this you will be able to unlock additional buffs for the archer tower when you have him assigned to it

It is quite cheap to put one or two stars on a general and level them a little to help inbetween now and when you can get some better generals. I would say to hold off on going too far as it is quite expensive to spread your resources over many generals. Askia will not be useful until keep 29 i think and so probably don't bother with him just yet.

I don't quite understand the entirety of your question but I can say for sure players use him on attack with ranged and siege troops against other players, although when possible other generals may be better, especially if you do not have a large march size and/or siege. PvP is PvP it doesn't matter if it is Server vs Server or not unless you are wanting to only participate when you "can't" lose troops such in as in SvS

@@EvonyGuides that makes sense, ill be at keep25 for awhile after spending and wanted someone to replace alexander since he feels rather weak. was thinking gustavis could replace him but my server is new. we will be taking throne today. and naturally I have siege upgrades on the backburner while the other 3 are at 25 for tier 10's. your guides have helped a good amount so far. the only gold subs that havent been taken or found yet are the arabian ones.

@@DeathmentalPvP alexander is not very good so anything replaces him but gustavus is a pretty big upgrade in particular for that general.. the Arabians are pretty good in assisting you keep you dead numbers down in PvP which is always a plus

i mean li jing is much better for killing higher level bosses, however if you have put a lot of work into cleo there may not be a big enough difference to warrant moving over to li jing. I would probs stick to cleo for now

You get these generals by purchasing $100 packs that give a premium general, participating in events that give these generals either for purchasing rewards (real money) or saving up tokens from the battlefield events each week to spend in the battlefield store and buying a premium general. Also now the game has a great general chest button in the tavern to have a chance at these generals for free

continue to refine the gear for higher power, get Ach Gear instead or Ares also you can continue to increase your monarch level (then the general level). You can always increase power with the dragon too

If something is able to be applied to your general, they will work as described.. this means that you may add troop load, gathering speed books and so on to this general as you see fit. I personally use gathering speed on 1-2 resources along with a troop load book for whatever troop type i am using to gather with on that particular general. If you need to gather more of one resource for a while due to what you do and do not produce in your city.. or if the troop type you're building for now is taking more of one resource.. definitely focus on adding those gathering speed books to your queen. You may see that some gear will increase troop gather speeds and also you could technically refine gear for troop load stats also, but these are not the priority. As you increase the star level, general level and cultivation of your queen, your gathering speed will increase.. this increase can be seen in the cultivation page

The empress in a Subordinate city would be leading the Subordinate city troops into battle. Only Debuffs like what the empress has will work from a Subordinate city however. This is because the debuff is applied to the enemy regardless but a regular buff only applies to the troops of the Subordinate city (which are useless) its a bit confusing i know

If you lose the battle, you could lose your hero. You dont want to lose your hero

Although generals with both debuffs and buffs will work just fine, but the buffs "won't" work effectively. Unfortunetly for me robert was changed after the video was made and therefore he is more so for attacking boss monsters now. Although due to his buffs he can be used in PvP when using quite a lot of mounted against ground armies, but with split buffs like that he may not be as effective as a full on mounted general such as martinus for instance

I have this general on my walls inside my city, I am currently using siege range increase, archef range increase and archer attack for skill books. This is because he is quite good with these troop types and these troops types tends to do well on defence. In addition train these two types of troops to make the most use of the general and the books i mentioned

historical generals all have special skill books, some of which are fantastic.. far superseding any regular skill book, not one general in the top 100 leader boards of older servers are ever a non-historical or non-top 5 general from my list/s. It is a waste of items and gems to invest in a general that is not at least top 10 for each given use, even a top 10 general for say ranged troops could have a 80% difference between number 10 and number 1 generals, which is significant.

Li Shimin is very good for archer attack but even Gustavus can be used for archer/siege attack (defense too)

@@pommiewog Edward The Black Prince is pretty good also, especially in the short term, however the march size increase and specialties of Li Shimin mean he is most likely going to be better in the long run. Although Edward will always be more versatile in being able to keep his stats as a defense general, where some of Li Shimin's will not work.

Yes certain generals require that you use a pasture dragon, and not a wonder dragon for their special skills. This is displayed by saying either "any dragon" or "any dragon from the pasture". This can sometimes effect which generals will be best for you depending on what you have unlocked dragon wise. For instance Elektra and Martinus say that they need Pasture Dragons.

but of course the dragons themselves will work on anything

When applying skill books you are best to get the exact type you want, but level one. Apply all skill books to your chosen general until every slot is taken by a level one. Then you will be able to replace them with level 2/3/4 (you can skip right to 4 if you have them). If you apply your higher-level books first, which are more valuable, they may be lost forever. In terms of disassembling books, this can be done to gather skill books pages, each 10 pages creates a random level 4 skill book. It is good to disassemble books you don't need, such as Mounted Speed books.

If a general has one single skill, you cannot add the same skill book on top of that. For instance, Washington has a 35% increase to mounted attack, therefore you cannot add mounted attack books to him. Although a general like Takeda Shingen increases ground and mounted by 20% (two different buffs) which allows you to add an additional mounted attack skill. Although Martinus technically has two skills they are both for Mounted Attack so you cannot add another attack book for mounted. Evony has recently come out with skill books specific to monsters, so he should be able to have a Mounted troop attack against monsters skill book although I cannot confirm

Yes he’s been given the monster atk snd monster hp for 45% buffs. He’s one of my boss runners.

The defense general on the wall leads your army in a defence against undead and enemy players, duty generals will only apply the listed "buff" to your city/army and tend to only work in-city if at all for PvP. There are certain Non-Tavern generals that give special buffs to your army when applied to particular duties, such as Ban Chao. The hospital officer is an example of a duty that applies the buff to any battle. If you have a general with non-specific buffs for duties, their books will not work and nor will their gear

The archer tower officer will only apply the boost to the attack power of the tower itself, no additional buffs will work unless using the general Ban Chao. The only use of gear on these generals is if you need more power on a general to meet the requirements of the special archer tower officer, then removing this gear afterwards as it has no use

You do not want to use a march size increase as the benefit of other skills are much more worth it. I would go for Ranged Attack, HP and ranged troop range bonus if you aren't looking at using siege too much soon. Although he definitely would shine with Ranged Attack, Siege Attack and Siege Range Bonus if you chose to go that way

They are both pretty good, you can use edward if you feel more like having straight buffs for your army, and more geared toward ranged. Although Himiko will give you better stats for some time as edward only starts to shine after unlocking his specialties, which takes a long time. If you are not a spender or believe you will take a long time to get the specialties, i would suggest Himiko

Once upon a time I made the mistake of buying him without reading his skill properly. He only works when reinforcing other players and therefore is so niche he is not worth it. Players struggle to max out even one general to 5.8M Power (ish) and so this general ends up not being worth it.

There is not a huge difference in overall percentages that you can get from these two generals, and Tomiri has the benefit of increased rally capacity.. although do note that attack percentages tend to trump anything else and Minamoto has higher potential in this regard. If you have significantly improved your Minamoto and it would take a lot of items to improve your tomiri to the same level, I would stick to Minamoto

I mean she isn't terrible but she also is not nearly good enough to be using long time in any role, in general it's best to hold off for the top generals available before investing.. otherwise you may regret it if you were to get a good one the next day

The easiest way is to just hit any regular monster, as many as possible with the stamina you have available. You wont get too many of these and will have to rely on teammates getting some also, I struggle too without trying to sit there for two hours hitting monsters 😆 I hope you can find some! Jindeok will most benefit from troop load and gathering speed books for certain resources.i tend to use one troop load book (choose your preferred troop type to send with her but i recommend siege). Then i choose two resources i would like to gather with her, this can be wood+food, stone+ore etc.. basically choose what you want to increase gathering speed and troop load!

Mounted speed can only be used on a boss general as they are already the fastest, so using them in a mixed army can cause them to die so easily, as they reach the frontlines while their archers cannot cover them. However, it does not tend to be used by players so its best to just stick to what you had mentioned as it relates to boss generals. The ground speed can be good for ground-based attack generals such as Trajan if you really want to as this means they, as short-range combatants, can get into the fight sooner which means more kills per death. Also they can be great on defence as ground are very effective on defence and therefore the same thing applies to them in these situations. It is something to weigh up with this book having to replace a whopping 25% stat increase to something else and so it really has to be done in instances where you have lots of this type of troop to make it more worthwhile though.

@@EvonyGuides Thanks, thats my thoughts exactly, ony my wall gen I have ground speed and the range/seige range addition books...it works very effectively...for boss hunting then...Im debating between Khalid / Takeda..both can have their attack stacked so they appear similar...who would you choose..and which books...obviously attack....after that Im leaning towards mounted speed and HP and leaving defense and march size out....thoughts?

@@jayc8495 I tend to see more defence being used than the mounted speed and haven't personally thought deeply about the effect of the book in a boss battle but i suppose you could use that book. The defence book is the best one to replace out of the 3 so you should be set with that. I believe that khalid is better but shingen is a valid choice also.

@@EvonyGuides Thanks, I compare the additional range and speed books to evony age 1. I am not sure if you played but each troop had a distance guide of when they started in the battle. Seige was 1400, Range 400, Calves 200, Sword 50..if I recall correctly...so adding a level 4 book should get them into the battle 4 rounds before normal which would seem to be a huge advantage..I know my additional seige and range books have a massive battle effect when I compare battle reports to reports where I do not have that general so I would think the speed books would act the same as additional range and should be one of the top 2 books when specializing a general all on one unit...but its hard to tell as the game doesnt give us a rally spot battle simulator like the older versions did.

@@jayc8495 they are important books, using a one book to specialise in one troop type for attack generals and possibly both siege and ranged for a defence general. It does have a similar affect to evony age one.

There are more people using Johnston than Tran I believe, and although tran can be very good if you play into his strengths, by building lots of siege... it takes a lot of time to do this and is going to limit your ability in attacking and other things while you build up your defense. I personally use Johnston which is good with ranged troops which allows me to get a better use out of my ranged attacking generals also.

Trajan will be better as it has more defence power and also it helps in attack defence and hp of the troops.

@@arpanbansal1 He is talking about tran dao, not trajan and even with trajan he is not a defence general that is used often by big players. The defense stat does not mean a general is better at defending, as this stat just means armor.

The only special boss than has a different weakness is the warlord (or maybe golem) and it says this when the event is active in the event center, generally speaking it is best to focus on mounted troops stats/general and just send that as there is little chance you will have enough ground to be effective until keep 32+

When you click your tavern, recruit, then portraits you can instantly see a majority of generals that have a gold frame or "card". These generals can be gotten from many places and primarily the "Recruit" option in the tavern. If you are looking to get a gold frame general from the tavern, you will need to level it to at least level 18 first, the higher the level of tavern the more likely one will show up here. Also be aware that they may only stay in the tavern for a limited time so ensure you have 10-30M gold ready to purchase them with. He is more so for ground and mounted troops. Also note as you level up you get historical generals like Spartacus, Cleopatra etc which you may sell for gold. Once you have 20M+ gold you will be able to refresh in the tavern for a CHANCE at an epic general!

He is the number one mistake people make. Alexander is not a good general and should not have level 3 or level 4 ski books added to him as he should be replaced quickly. If you have no other options feel free to use him but only in a limited capacity to save your precious books and other items

Yes attack is important all the time, it is generally better to go for attack over Defence. Defence is just armor, it isn't better or worse on defence really

You can sometimes get these generals by claiming daily chests by clicking the gem amount in the top left and claiming the little chest icon. If you save up these fragments you may be able to create a general (30 fragments) from your inventory. Also by claiming great general chests from the tavern you can get additional random fragments for many different generals with a low chance of getting a full general when you get lucky. You will get great general chests every few days but may get one extra one per day by finishing 145 daily activity points in the tavern. Apart from this you may participate in battlefield events with your alliance (if your server is older than two months) and use your badges to buy a general chest from the battlefield shop located near the walls of your city, however the general you receive will be good it might not necessary be the one you want

Mounted are not the best at attacking other players with, or especially defending with and so try you best to get a better ranged general for those purposes. Although you can still use him in the mean time

I do not exactly recall what I said on this but I do absolutely agree and sometimes in my videos are do forget to mention exactly their ranking in each regard, obviously atilla is more for getting resources from players than tiles

i mean shes okay for defense but really it is better to get a different general over her when you can

I will try to do a video about this in the future but it will require more research to be able to put together a nice video on it. The basics are that mounted are the fastest all the way to siege being the slowest and therefore affecting each troop types ability to kill/be killed quicker. In that, your mounted can be too fast and run ahead of your army and die before archers can help them in battle for instance, this is partly why mounted is not favored in PvP.

She can be okay for a starter general for monsters and boss monsters, however do not put too much effort into improving ANY purple general as you eventually want golds

Also I have questions about trap building, I only and mainly build the traps with the highest power I don’t build the fire arrows abd rocks even if they were higher in level than Abatis but still give lower power , I’m I doing right or should I build everything with equal numbers ? .

he is not

if u want to build traps build them to fill in your weaknesses with troops, ignore the power they give as they will die quickly in PvP and especially battlefield anyways. In the end they are a waste of resources in most cases for larger players until the developers make it so they don't get killed in battlefield.

This depends on how long you think it could take you to find a better general, if you spend money on the game and so on. Although this general is not a best case scenario for ranged troops, he does okay for the short time if you felt like investing into him, generals can always have their gear switched over to a newer one and then use the old one (mehmed) on a duty instead. He mainly lacks in specialties and base stats which don't matter as much until you are getting him above level 30

you can also do that, although most of the time and resources you put into mehmed will not benefit you any longer when he is in a sub, only the debuffs

Evony Guides ok thanks, does that mean that non sub skill books (eg range defense) and cultivating / levelling up sub gens has no real benefit?

They will only benefit the Subordinate city troops and not your primary main city troops (regular buffs) debuffs are good in Subordinate cities as they apply to the entire enemy army. This means cultivation, non sub skill books etc are more or less useless although technically will still work on the troops from that Subordinate city

He is nothing special in attack but he can be used if you have to, as he does have okay buffs for attacking purposes, although his best use is in a subordinate city

@@federicosaolini6148 that all sounds good! Takeda is a great general to have from the tavern to use against boss monsters, mounted troops are not typically used in PvP though

Ranged HP, Attack and Ranged Troop Range Bonus. He is good with ranged and so doubling down on that is beneficial as long as you train this troop type also

Evony Guides I have got Scipio and Roland too.... which skills should I add for them? I need 3 strong generals ... 1 strong at the wall...2 for monsters and Scipio for PvP. Thanks for your suggestions... I like your videos 😊👍👊

@@MACK636 You should add the following ground books to Scipio.. Attack, HP and Defence. To roland add the same books but for mounted instead, this will make them very good with one troop type which is what you want to strive for with most generals you obtain

These generals are not good, especially alexander. I personally sold Alexander as soon as i got him from the purchasing rewards. If you have one of these generals feel free to use them, but do attempt to replace asap.

She is to be used when joining alliance rallies by other members of your alliance on boss monsters. She will allow you to get extra rewards when joining these rallies, if you alliance members are doing all the damage to the boss you will not need to level her up to get this effect

If you can get baibars he is better then cleopatra

I heard that it stacks damage x10

His stats only work while reinforcing a teammate, he will not work in attacking other players, defending your own city etc therefore he is not the best general to have by far

@@federicosaolini6148 Mounted attack is going to be the best as he is not suited for PvP he is best against monsters and boss monsters. Try and get a good ranged general for PvP then eventually a ground one also. Always keep you troop types and generals seperate for best results. Sometimes PvP generals can have Ranged/Siege stats but usually mixing two troop types is negative

I would choose (i literally did) Joseph E Johnson due to his overall bufss between his skill book and the specializes being near 200%! Although Keit is widely used I think joseph having a slight edge in the siege is great to help with defence!

He would be a waste in a sub city but if you wanted to go ahead and make sure to only use Subordinate skill books of your choosing, as they aren't particularly important either way

Thank you for the question, and also the reply. I have the same three generals listed in the question. I am considering grooming one to replace Jadwiga, who I kind of like and currently use as my defense general. I am leaning toward Joseph E. Johnston because I tend to prefer a defense general that has a diversity of skills. Ly Thuong Kiet, for example, has excellent ranged troop attack and defense, but I already get some of that skill with Ban Chao in my archer tower. With Johnston or Jadwiga I feel like I can cover more bases. You never know what an attacker will throw at you.

@@user-ol2tt5bv6u I added more archer skills, not knowing if they would further stack on his existing archer skills: Lv4 Ranged Troop Attack, Range Bonus, and Ranged Troop Defense. I also am curious whether it makes a difference to give him a high quality bow and to refine his equipment, or if that doesn't matter. I don't know the answer. Maybe the maker of the video will know.

He is a good general to get started off killing boss monsters due to the mounted stats increase, also he has a bonus for resource gathering which is also nice to be using throughout your first couple months. Although gold historic generals are necessary in the long run to stay competitive with other players so do look to replace him with better generals mentioned in the video for resource gathering and boss monster killing.

Any generals used in duties will not have any benefit from adding additional skill books, although the default skill books for generals that are specific to a particular duty such as the ones you mention will work just fine. You can increase the generals base stats by cultivation, leveling and upgrading the star level to unlock additional buffs, the final duty requirements also includes a general power minimum along with a base stat minimum... you can meet this requirement by adding your highest power gear to them temporarily when you assign them to the duty and then remove it afterwards, as gear also has no effect on duties other than this one instance

Great general chests are not considered the tavern

It is my understanding that he does not work in subordinate cities, even if he were to work, cixi/nero are used 99/100 times by big players (or 100/100)

He is a reinforcing general and I have made the mistake of buying him without realizing that before 😆 i would not buy him again due to this

So a better reinforcing gen offers debuffs?

I was talking to you on another of your clips about generals and what tavern level is best to aim for when recruiting etc. I have my tav at 24 at moment and will shortly take it to 25. My keep is upgrading to 27. I have managed to get to Jackson's and Cixis, and a Trajan in the last week or so. I also have Martinis, Gustavo, Mansa and Alex as historic generals I've had for a while. Not sure which to focus on. I am thinking of leaving Trajan for the moment and focusing on Mansa and maybe a Jackson or Cixi

I don't quite get the difference between say a PvP and a SVS strategy, are we just talking attack generals with the best buffs?

cleo is great to use against bosses when joining other players rallies for extra rewards

I only don't recommend her because even with my videos (which could always be better) a lot of people I know still struggle with gold etc early game, meaning this cleo purchase may not always be the best, especially for those not understanding the use of boss rallies until it's "too late"

@@EvonyGuides I guess it's a matter of opinion. The reason you don't recommend her is the reason I do. For 16 million gold, it's a cheap double drop general, meaning that the gold investment will be paid off much quicker than a Baibars investment. I also only use her as a "join rally" general and not a "lead rally" general. So Cleo + Kings ring = 46% double drop rate. Baibars + Kings ring = 51% double drop rate. Cleo = 16m gold. Baibars = 30m gold. Investing in a cheap double drop general will pay dividends down the road in resources and gold chests (when farming Vikings, goblins and K1's). Basically the way i see it, double drop generals pay for the stuff you need down the road.

I think that way personally however the amount of people that do not think of the future like that are astounding and so that comes through in my videos, even when I should perhaps consider stressing that point in future. I will eventually remake videos and I could absolutely sell your point then

Absolutely not. Get those Cleopatra’s and replace them with Baibars when you can. They are worth their weight in gold and their drop rate ain’t much different than Baibars.
