Want to hear something even more infuriating? Look up the 2004 referendum of the Irish people on the 27th amendment of the constitution. A question was asked about giving citizenship in the country, 80% voted that citizenship should ONLY be conferred upon babies born on the island of Ireland to parents who were Irish citizens. What has the justice ministry done since then? Citizenship is given away like popcorn now and as far as I know, there has been no change in the law that allows it.

I just know what these types did to parts of Sydney over 20 years ago. Towns and cities are ruined, rife with crime and it's disgusting that we just have to tolerate or move away from it. There are those in this country that embrace immigration while holding the NIMBY card. On my local FB page in UK a Ukrainian father of 2 was asking where he can get a house for his wife, his children and he. My first thoughts were for all the young men that have been sent to the front that had never had a proper girlfriend never mind a wife and kids and the problem of trying to find a house for a family that the people of the UK struggle to find.

There are some deportation orders. But I believe something in the order of 9 out of every 10 such orders are not executed at all. You can’t have misadministration on such a scale without it being deliberate.

I worked in a direct provision hostel and can back up the claim that most come from the UK after they’ve been refused asylum there, or are kicked out for criminal activity. Every single person there had come via England.

A refugee moves to a neighbouring country and returns when it’s safe , if they move from these countries they are economic migrants. I was put through hell jumping through hoops to become an Australian resident, thousands of my money on application and solicitor fees, weeks of waiting. The idea of this Govt just letting theses chancers show up willy nilly and waved through is sickening and later to be treated like kings with free everything just boils my piss. And this is exactly why the younger generation needs to be in touch with the older generation, because the truth wont be muddied between us if we interact directly. Fair play to Gript for this one. If the older generation fades without us taking truth from them and perpetuating it, we'll be lost.

What also makes me mad is the courts have paid some refugees 25 thousand euro because they took the goverment to court because they werent housed when they arrived in Ireland ,, this should be brought up at community meetings and protests

We need this man and more like him in the UK! It's difficult to stomach migrants who claim asylum and swear they have barely escaped with their lives, complaining about their accommodation, food and money. And not one thanks or shows any gratitude to the UK people or government. Our country cannot cope with mass migration.

As a taxpayer it makes me so irritated, to see this abuse continued by these scammers, and never addressed. We are now paying for vast numbers of Ukrainians also arrive here daily, and I never had a problem with it, until lately Now we have Ukrainians coming from other European countries too, as the word is out that Ireland gives out much more, and much better social welfare benefits than Poland for example. This is what happens when we have politicians who never make forward plans to house our citizens, or for that matter are not fit for the purpose of managing our country. The Ukrainians will be Ireland's biggest downfall. Over 200 a day are arriving from other European countries. Countless homes and buildings repurposed specifically for them at huge expense to the state. We were told at the time that these will be used for Irish people when the Ukrainians go home. Zelensky has been all over the media in recent weeks begging for cash and credit. He claims this will be paid back through taxation. These people won't be going home to take part in such extortionate tax rates! I seen a social page claim that Ukrainians didn't need to tax or insure their Ukrainian plates cars. At the time I brushed it off, thinking they were most likely just being bigoted. Until I actually looked. Not one Ukrainian plated car have I seen with disk's displayed on the dash. Who pays for damage if they crash? This has just gone to a absurdly unsustainable level and we need to take action!!

Totally agree with view on the "citizens assembly" con job. So great to hear someone with knowledge and experience speak with logic and common sense. He puts our politicians, media, ngos to shame.
