This was a long 3 weeks, and it’s finally time to get this machine back to work. Thank goodness the snow is melting fast and I will have a reliable machine to get some projects completed.

That was one hell of a lot of work, sir! You saved yourself, major mula from having someone else to do it, and now you know it is done to your satisfaction, and you’re ready for another year of work. I absolutely love watching your videos, especially the pig content!😊

If I wanted to dig using a machine, I guess I would have to understand the makers of that machine and be able to fix and repair the machine when such repairs were needed. I have always dug with a shovel. I didn't get as much digging done, but I never had to repair my shovel. I always wanted to move more dirt.

before replacing your plexi glass take a heat gun to it and watch it clear up. careful dont get it to hot , youll see it claer up as you heat it. also works on the edges after you cut them.

Very well done Mark on extending the tips on the thumb, you are some craftsman and a great welder. Also your machine has been so well serviced and you know that no service station would do half of the work you have done. 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼

Mark, I LOVE how you had the forethought to build the shop big enough that you can work on your larger pieces of equipment INSIDE the shop!! Nice Job!!!

Thank you for walking us through excavator maintenance. It takes a lot of skill and know-how to accomplish these tasks. Parts are expensive but labor cost is even more so. Being able to do this in-house makes it tolerable plus it can be a tax benefit.

I love big equipment and the maintenance and repair it takes to keep them going, thanks for sharing your knowledge and mechanical talent, beautiful work Mark, it’s ready for some serious ground work ❤!

Maintenance is crucial to equipment longevity! Just cleaning things up helps more than people think. Clean grease, for instance. Vacuuming the interiors every once in a while. Washing the mud out of the treads at the end of the day. Yep!

Love it! Now just the knowledge of all those repairs/improvements will give you peace of mind and the jobs will go so much smoother. Very impressive to watch and your communication of the process gave even someone like me interest in seeing the completion. Can't wait to see all the work to take place and like we all know equipment is key for success. Kudos

Marc, Don’t discredit your skills. There’s a KZfaqr I watch who loves to say: “a grinder and paint make me the welder I ain’t” and there’s another one who says: “I’m not a welder, I’m just a guy who owns one” 😂😂😂

It see great seeing a video from you guys. I like these type of videos. Silly question: Are the muck boots you guys wear all the time very comfortable? I've worked construction my whole life and even in mub, I didn't like much and just stuck to my leather danners. Carried too pairs I've I had to work in the mud, but being a electrician my whole life I really tried to say out of it
@MountainMapleRanch3 ай бұрын
The types we wear are very comfortable. I have a pair of the cheap PVC/Vinyl boots and they are uncomfortable and cold but better for things like concrete. I love my pull-on boots but in the snow/ice and the heavy mud, they suck and the mud is hard on the leather. I pretty well "live" in my muck boots during the snow/mud and in my leather boots otherwise.

Will you notice less "sloppyness" in the over all operation of the excavator after you're done? It seems with all the work you're doing, the moving parts should be more tight just due to the wear and tear over the years.
