Hi Robyn, The Chief was the first channel i watched when checking into The Villages! I found so many good channels to follow! I love all the information you put out there! Fingers Crossed I get an answer from my buyers soon if their loan application was approved! I can't wait to come down and do a visit and tour some properties!

I was thinking about retiring at TV but it seems like it might be too big and the events always seem to be so crowded, nowhere to park,etc. I do like the idea of it with all the available activities and safe neighborhoods but I already live with crowds and traffic and I’d rather not be around that.

I have a home I’m preparing for sale in NJ, cleaning out all the closets and such. I own it outright and would love to get it on the market so I can seriously start looking in the Villages. I’m still worried about home owners insurance/hurricanes etc. as I deal with that in South Jersey too. I’m on the younger side soon to be 57 but a widow. I’m hoping this would be a good move for me and I’d have more community (and no, I’m not looking for a man 😂 already raised one of those. They are easy to find in NJ also). My current town isn’t the most active or friendly. I’m hoping to call you once I have a buyer. Your videos are great! 🙏😀

I think Jeff is a very charismatic gentleman. You guys should collaborate on future videos. Ira just put out a video of completely remodeled home for sale under $300K. It’s stucco over wood frame which is very nicely done in and out. For sale by owner $284,999 I think. Two bedroom

Buyers beware there is literally No public transport in the Villages, Top tip if you are going to move to the Villages Buy a Second hand Golf Buggy outside of the Villages as Golf carts are 4 X more expensive within the villages. I was quoted $10,400 dollars for a Cart , The same Model i bought for $1900 dollars in Texas ( Austin ) from a Golf course that has upgraded them, Its not only the same Model but 18 months younger with new Batteries, Its a Scam buying them in the Villages. Also HOA fees WTF ? I opted out and Boy did they not like it,

Death, illness, move back to be near family for a variety of reasons. A small percentage do not like it here.

I'm curious, Robyn, about your take on this one: Do you represent buyers for a house, if you also happen to be the listing agent? If so, do you find it difficult trying to equally straddle loyalty between both sides? And is duel agency allowed in Florida? Thanks!

Personally I do not have a problem keeping both parties best interests if I have both sides. In Florida we are Transaction Agents so we can have both sides. We do not have Dual Agency in Florida. If the deal is smooth its great but a problem child home, deal, client better off to have one side with another Realtor.

Property taxes are based on the selling price so yes if the home price is reduced so will the taxes

Rental rates are from $3000 and up per month in high season. You may rent short or long-term here

Rentals from May through October are generally a lot cheaper in The Villages because those are the warmer weather months...especially June through September.
