I also use Argan oil before straightening because it helps protect the hair from the heat damage.

Hi there new to channel like the demonstration your talking about Argan oil I've been hearing about that a lot I have a think course beard and I've just now been taking care of it and getting trims done by barber every couple of weeks would that be good on that kind of beard

Great beard! The thing I found with straightening irons is that it can become obsessive. You start over examining ever hair to make sure it stays in place. You worry about wet weather or damp air ruining the neatness that you've created. And worst of all it's damaging the cuticle and making it brittle no matter how much you moisturize it. I straightening my head hair when it was long for years, then stopped and embraced the curls and waves. My hair was pleased I did.

i only use the hairdryer and a bone comb. after showering i get dressed and start on the beard asap. aim the dryer in the direction you want comb. comb it in shape, ad some oil and comb it to distribute the oil. only takes a few minutes.

You sir have a very soft beard "touch wood", But won't this damage my beard if i do it daily? or it's fine? also please tell me if using Serum "silicone oil" is good or bad for beard?
@KiltsMC5 жыл бұрын
Doesn’t hurt your beard at all, as long as you dont burn your beard!! Just like hair on your head, put a protectant like an Argan oil in between the hair and the tool. I try to stay with Argan oil based products to protect the hair, correct little damage, add softness as well as moisturizer for the skin under the beard as it has a tendency to become dry.
@n8wolf5755 жыл бұрын
if you oil / balm it theres no problem. im drying my beard with an hairdryer and it doesnt affect mine at all

@KiltsMC5 жыл бұрын
Justin Hall I smooth the sides under each day, and light smoothing each day/morning. I do a full straightening once a week or so, for a nice event or seeing other “beardies!, lol” As i have shown, use an ARGAN or Jojoba oil based oil for the skin, and the hair as the oil with heat will actually correct damage and dryness, and split ends (that need trimmed off every few weeks to keep thickness and continue to be able to grow!)

R Bush Well, Sir, i have 30 years of hair and skin experience owning salons, spas and doing male and female clients.. I hold a dual license in the US/Virginia for Cosmetology and Cosmetology instructor, as well as esthetics and esthetics instructor. If you listen to my videos i also say its good for your skin, and you will see me push it to my skin.. This is an Argan oil which also has major benefits to the hair.. Do some research. Argan oil has a number of benefits when used on hair. It can act as a moisturiser for the scalp to fight dandruff and dry scalp. It can also promote the growth of healthy, strong hair as opposed to thin, brittle hair. It can even undo some of the damage done through chemical treatments and dyes, and can be used to treat split ends. Immediate benefits can also be seen in people who use argan oil on their hair. It is an excellent agent for taming frizz and promoting shine and gloss, as well as softer, more manageable hair. Argan oil is non-irritating and actually reverses much of the damage done by artificial chemicals and treatments on hair. It is often used in its pure form for healthy, soft and shiny hair. Unlike many styling agents which can cause long term damage to hair due to the chemicals included in the ingredients, argan oil enriches hair with nutrients and repairs damage. It is also a great product to use before straightening as it can help protect hair against heat damage Have a nice day!
