Just an idea or something that might help with training. Caldwell came out with a product called flashbang steel hit ident thingy basically when you hit steel it flashes green led lights(though your steel seems to move I have shot some that doesn't). Though personally haven't used it yet have seen some great reviews especially longer distances. For $30 it's a neat piece of tech

I have shot those and they are very awesome to let you know when you impact. TREX has them on a couple of the steel. Great Idea didn't even think of that

@@ExecutiveTrainingGroup I haven't done much distance due to a my TBI but remember using some reactive and when they worked digital self resetting targets in the military but most times they were broken so it would reset but not log the hit or not do anything ha & don't get me wrong anything is better than working in the pit dropping/wcoring targets at 500yrds(irons before acog's) I saw another 2A channel I trust(good people) do a review on them and when I heard the price I was quite shocked they didn't gouge & I have already gifted some. I currently focusing on pistol comp and have had days with USPCA/IDPA targets where I have had to get close to see if it's an A, C or miss vs hitting steel, but also know longer distances depending on Cal and distance sometimes without a spotter be like did I hit that but with my luck I would drill the light ha Though I am new to your channel and not sure if still available but besides passing it on you might be able to get them to send you one to try out.

Take a Bruiser Industries scope carbine class. He’ll definitely help your body positioning, as your body seems to be canted. Joe will also go through quick wind, speed drop, using a ballistic app as well as many other fundamentals. Follow it up with his precision and everything gets easier.

Yes I have a habbit of my lead foot going forward. I can feel when I get in a good posetion vs not good as I am fighting the rifle. It has been a long time since I have gone to work on any of this stuff. I I got my buddy chris workmen whos going to spin me back up to speed but I have also seen a bunch of the stuff joe does and would love to take on of his classes. Still just have so much I could work on for the time being.

Fair enough. Not bad. Subscribed, upvoted, commented (obviously) and I'm ringing the bell. We'll give this a chance. I had my doubts after watching the intro but ... may the algorithm gods smile favorably upon this channel and cause it grow and prosper. We used the wiz wheel at the old sniper school at Bragg back in the 70s and early 80s ... with M21s. You get cudos for recommending the wiz wheel as backups.

Try the Trijicon Credo FFP.....the caps are tall as shit but I love mine.the windage is capped and the elevation is not. Iv'e had no problems with mine and I love the recticle. It's a C.T type and super clear. I have a 1-6 viper pst gen 2 on a 14' bren 2 ms and that gun has become my favorite. I didn't wanna trust it, bit at 2500 rds all conditions in the KY mountains NO failures. Anyway, I like the 2-10 credo FFP for more precise AR stuff. Thank's for your service and the info.

Good video, as for the sig range finder. I have now owned 3 different ones all of them have failed, everytime sig replace the LRF. As long as you keep it in a case and just pull it out at the range to use it will be fine. Dont carry it on you in field conditions NTC, JRTC, FTX or hunting in back country it will fail. I want to say again sig did replace it every time. It is just not a field capable system. I have used the vortex razor in those exact conditions, it has not failed yet. I hope this helps save some people money.

@ExecutiveTrainingGroup I really hope they fix the issue. These range finders are very impressive as far as function goes. They are accurate and fast working. Im not sure if it is the laser just gets knocked loose from being bounced around.

6:37 "Out there in the wind, flapping around, spinning" HAHAHHAAAA People who complain about non locking turrets make me laugh. I have NEVER had a turret move on me. Maybe scopes in the 1970's had that problem but no modern day scope turret move on their own. If you tell me otherwise....I won't believe you. This is why Nightforce doesn't bother, and ZCo started making a NLE option....bc I repeat....TURRETS DO NOT MOVE THEMSELVES!!!!

5:20 14.5" match grade barrel and only gets 1.5" MOA accuracy? Curious why not 16-18" if pursuing more SPR (long range precision, 600+ yd?) intent and if that length would be under 1 MOA. In general 14.5" seems like GPR, though I'm just sideline critic. All other gear and intent seems good... curious about that whiz-wheel!

Something I've been noticing with the trendy guntubers right now is...short SPR's are currently the new hotness. Basically, it's just any GPR under 18" that had a LPVO is now running a MPVO and a bipod.
@ExecutiveTrainingGroup
@ExecutiveTrainingGroup 9 ай бұрын
2" is more about velocity then it is about accuracey. Match barrel is a general term it is more about finding the ammo that shoots MOA or below. Test your rifles out don't just assume. Lots of rifles are actually 1.5 to 2 moa with normal ammo. Trust but confirm
@save2a4all
@save2a4all 9 ай бұрын
@@ExecutiveTrainingGroupthat added barrel length/bullet velocity can help with longer range (before bullet goes transonic) and minimize drop compensation across various target distances (straighter line). I think shorter barrels generally have less accuracy at 100yrds (MOA) as well. Not to completely diss a 14.5" as a good overall do everything barrel length, but for SPR that usually means optimizing for longer distance (w longer barrel length).
