Also, I have to add. I can no longer listen to this song without thinking of how CBX stood up for themselves, did the scary thing and sued SM to get paid properly and we all cheered and now they have a better contract. "On a payroll" indeed!!

The song is about how in future they’re going to find out SM is ripping them off and that they’ll leave to keep the man from bleeding them dry. Prescience is their subunit power. I love Chen’s dancing! He’d developed a very distinctive style at this point. Can you see another member of EXO pulling off that penguin move?

EXO-CBX has great songs, I hope they release another album in the future. I recommend King and Queen live from their Magical Circus Tour, it is one of my favourites, as well as Don't Go live (Xiumin special stage, it was right before he enlisted) from the same tour.

Don’t worry you two im pretty sure a lot of us cracked up with the visual choices in this music video ahaha. With you two enjoying CBX title tracks so much, especially Horlolo, I’m pretty sure you’re going to enjoy their b-sides from their two Japanese albums (Girls, Magic) a whole lot. CBX as a unit in general tends to be funkier, groovier, and a little more out there with instrumentals and rhythm (and yep, lyrics 😂). They just give such fun, party vibes most of the time. 10:12 btw if you guys recall, this is the cheer CBXS did before the bubble soccer game in ladder s2!! chanyeol just really wants to be in cbx 😂

Hi! Watch a live performance in Japan EXO - "The Star" (CONCERT: EXO PLANET #2 - THE EXO'LUXION IN JAPAN 2015). Or you can get double pleasure and watch along with the song Hurt from the same concert. You will definitely like it, there is such energy there!!! And the song is great! (My bias Xiumin and his hairstyle are and his solo 🔥🔥🔥). And there is a performance similar to this: EXO - Lotto + Ka CHING! (The ElyXiOn in Seoul). And EXO-CBX have just amazing live performances with songs: King and Queen (In Japan), Vroom Vroom (MAGICAL CIRCUS 2019).

"Ka-Ching" is one of EXO-CBX's first Japanese songs, but I am not really sure how this MV fits into EXO's storyline, other than it talks about gambling and a greed for money, sort of along the lines of "Monster" and "Lotto." Yes, it has a sort of circus vibe, but I also think it might be a Las Vegas casino look as well. This MV is also so over the top and colorful that, now that we have discovered the creation of X-EXO, I am starting to think maybe the CBX members who are part of "Ka-Ching" are supposed to be the X-EXO clones. Because X-EXO are the ones that are represented by the bright colors. Or, at least, maybe Chen, Baekhyun and Xiumin as EXO members are trapped in one of the Red Force's realms or alternate dimensions, etc. Because this is a Japanese song, yet again it's the short version. Traditionally, most Japanese MVs use an abridged version of the song. I think it's part of Japan's marketing strategy to make you buy the song or album in order to hear the full song. So, most of the time, to hear the whole song you have to see it live in concert or listen to the studio version. They also have a Korean version of the song, which they have performed in concert before. My favorite part about this MV is how the backup dancers' makeup is meant to make them look like they are part of comic strip pop art. There is a live version of "Ka-Ching" from EXO-CBX's Magical Circus Japanese concert, kzfaq.info/get/bejne/mLiJiM95xseuhJs.html, and a live version that features the other EXO members as sort of backup dancers at one of EXO's concerts, kzfaq.info/get/bejne/jKxli7BjxKnFf6M.html. You should really check out both of these performances, it's a great way to see the choreography and the stages are really fun. I love this song because it is so much fun and just makes you happy to listen to it.

This one is so addictive - it's also to japanese what BTS' just one day is to korean... that is to say, it suddenly made me fluent in the language. Also, the lyrics to this are quite a bit deeper than one might think!
