Only in EXO I see true friendship, true brotherhood. Just the way they look at each other shows so many emotions.

My bias of course is D.O., but it hits hard to hear him say that because of not being able to walk peacefully down the street, that sort of freedom I'm sure they all dream of, ...that he thought of quitting several times. That hurts my heart. I yearn for him to have that freedom again. Does anyone agree with me? I have seen footage of D.O. walking in the parking lot and there were fans outside that he caught a glimpse of and he darted and hid behind a column and walked back where he came from into the building and the fans started running. I dont know if I would trade my life for his...yet I feel selfish for wanting him to continue entertaining us...if people could only show them privacy and give them space, they wouldn't entertain the thought of quitting. It's the real deal.....🙁

In addition to the 3 members leaving, they were plagued with many other issues since debut not obvious in this video. Though they're now considered one of SM's most successful groups today they were once called SM's biggest failure. During 2014, we had Kris leave weeks before their very first concert and we see Tao explain in the clip how hard they practiced to rearrange everything. Shortly after Baekhyun's dating news broke out and it was received with much criticism from fans and netizens, some which publicly asked Baekhyun to leave exo (which is why you see him crying during one of the concerts). Kai was also involved in dating several female idols over the years however the backlash he received was no where near as severe. After 3 of the members leaving in succession and Lay being the only chinese member left, he no doubt received a lot of criticisms from k-netizens. You also see Chanyeol crying at the MAMA 2017 awards as a lot went down that day. If you search what happened to exo at mama 2017 you will find videos explaining what happened but basically 2017 is the last year exo and SM artists appear on MAMA. Most recently, we now have Chen's marriage with some fans asking Chen to leave exo. These are just some of the hardships the boys faced over the years, yet they have grown stronger and been able to overcome each obstacle as a group and with each other.

This is why I feel sad and angry when people say EXO had it easy as they debuted from a big company, as compared to other groups debuting from relatively unknown or small companies who “worked their way up”. The EXO members have underwent and are still undergoing so much hardships, and yet they still give their all for their fans. I hope us EXO-L’s will continue to love, care, and protect all of them forever! 🥰

I’m so glad you found EXO and want to learn all you can. Though I have not been able to attend an EXO concert, I did get to see Baekhyun and Kai with SuperM in their Seattle concert. I really enjoy your reactions.

There's a clip that shows Sehun and Chanyeol who are in their car stopping and asking some fans who were waiting outside of an arena after watching their concert how they'd get home. The fans reply " we'll wait for the earliest bus tomorrow morning." Sehun and Chanyeol: take care and make sure to have warm noodles there' s a place nearby. It's chilling please keep warm."

Please check up Chanyeol - Hand. Its about how he feels when 2014 (which is the time when members left). He write it in 2015. And released 2017/2018.

Sometimes when I want to gave up and exhausted, I started thinking of EXO. When I see their hardship, mine is a little. EXO overcome their struggle and also I can do it. I can overcome it. Seeing they keep trying and trying in their career to improve, I gain strength to keep trying in my career to achieve goals like them. Never give up. Your goal will get one day. Just don't give up. When you tired, think EXO.

The reason why Suho didn't debuted with SHINEE was that he got injured so company told him to wait next group. He said that there was time when he wanted to give up but somehow he managed to stay strong. EXO debut after more than 4 years so instead of training 2-3 years he trained 6-7 years 😭 but I'm happy he debuted with EXO I can't imagine EXO without him

Exo ladder Season 2 is the best thing that one could possibly see. Through out the whole show, you can really see the personalities of each member of EXO and like them even more. They are funny, entertaining and full of emotions in this show.

It's painful for me to watch Lay all by himself. I'm proud of his achievements, but whenever I see him by himself, especially when he mentions EXO, I get teary-eyed. I saw the clip about him showing everyone that he had EXO as his home screen pic and my heart hurt for how much he must miss his brothers. And then I think about how much more he must be hurting. If it hurts us this much, imagine being the members themselves.

The sad times of EXO are finally over (as you can see they cried a lot back then). Its hard being an EXOL from 2013-2015 and I know its so hard being an EXO member back then. Im so happy to see them satisfied now, they can do what they want. If youre an exol back on those days, you will be happy that people are loving them behind the scenes like with Chen. The boys sacrificed a lot to be where they are, its time for them to be truly happy.

The second background (the female vocal one) that you pointed out was written by SHINee's Jonghyun, which makes it even more fitting for this video bc it talks about comforting someone going through hardships and Jonghyun could empathize with the struggles EXO faced in their careers. A lot of people forget that being an idol is a JOB and there's actual hard work involved behind the glamour, so I'm glad this video exists to really touch on this subject.

They don’t know all the struggles and hardships they went through, being mocked, received so many hatred from day one of their carriers, loosing Kris just a few weeks before their first concert, loosing Luhan, then loosing Tao, overwork, miss treated by their own agency. Kai and Lay get injuries a lot, and it takes a few months to recover. Kris, Luhan and Tao left exo due to miss treated and overworked by SM. At that time Dispatch also revealed that Baekhyun and Taeyeon from SNSD are dating, all hell broke loose and hate were given to both of them. Fans asked Baekhyun to left exo, received a death threat, hate comments, Only a few people come to Baekhyun musical performance. Exo earned their success with hard work, dedication, passion and never ending talent. They’re endured those hard times and still did their best, they deserved what they have and what they become.

I struggled when I heard Kris and Luhan left. I'm preparing for my entrance exam in the university. Hahaha. When TAO left the group I cried so hard. I even say this is too much to handle. My heart can't handle this even my mind. I uninstall all my application in SOCIAL media (IG, Twitter, fb, weibo), I deactivate Twitter and Facebook,. When I was stress 2016 I open my KZfaq application and searching Peter Pan and Lucky. I listen to the song. I cried hard that time and I remember the exo showtime so I watch it again and again. exo gave me a heartaches but they gave me also a reason to walk again with them and be with them till the end. They are my happiness, my strength. Anyway I miss them all

They also were treated bad by mnet which is a whole other video in its self, the scene where Kai is comforting chanyeol crying was the year they did them bad. D.O used to be a lot more vocal but due to a certain incident with a sasaeng fan he changed and got more quiet and introverted which breaks my heart. Thank god we are seeing him come out of his shell recently.
