EXO promise always puts me in tears the song is so amazing and beautiful they really create masterpieces. I discovered EXO in 2014 overdose era and ever since no one could take their place EXO . They just got that something that other groups don't have for me EXO are forever my number one ultimate favorite K-Pop group of all time . They are Global icons and King of Kings and Legends of Legends we are one .

I had a boyfriend and we met on 2014 we were 2nd yr college that time and while we are together he knows that I love kpop and a die hard EXO fan (i love exo since 2013), but him, he HATES KPOP like he don’t understand why some people love to listen to those type of songs, but still he respected my fangirling but he just sometimes ignores me when I say something about EXO LOL which I’m a bit hurt when things like that happens. So fast forward to 2017 we both got busy in school that I lost track of updates with EXO, but then kokobop came and I was so excited coz its their comeback and idk what happened but he got curioused and watched the mv with me. Then boom! he said he liked the song and the mv. Then just the following months he also joined me while I’m watching some kpop boyband on their own reality show (i think that was wanna one i forgotXD) and out of nowhere he asked me if EXO had that kind of thing too, because he said itll look fun, and boyyyy I was soooo happy that time that we binge watched some of exo showtime episodes and while watching ep1 he found them so funny and liked their brotherhood too, imagine how happy and shocked I was lol , he memorized their names and got a bias which is Chanyeol, it all happened in just a day ! And as years passed by he literally fell in love with them too, he loves all of their songs, music videos, concepts, and everything about them that sometimes I feel like I had a girl bestfriend XD we just kept on fangirling on EXO throughout the years, yes fangirling, because he sometimes scream like a girl whenever we watch EXO on tv or any new videos of them XD I also tried making him watch other kpop groups even girl groups mv and listen to their music but no, he will still comeback to EXO. He said EXO is on another level. Im just so happy that my cool manly man turned soft when he stan EXO. So yeah I’m inlove with EXO but I’m ofcourse much more in love with my understanding boyfriend ❤️ Then last year btw we got to attend our very first exo concert!!! And guess who screamed the loudest XD

No other group could've survived the loss of 3 members, 3 key members at that, one was a leader (kris), the other one of the most popular (luhan)and another the main dancer and rapper (tao). It is hard when 1 member leaves and some groups can't even survive that let alone 3. This is why EXO's fanbase is very strong despite coming close to the 10 year mark. Many groups have the luck of not going through this kind of dark patches, exo went through these and they still managed to not only mantain their popularity and fanbase but to increase it.

I was there for every incident that went on at the time. I was nervous, anxious and worried for Exo as well. I didn't like seeing them in the news. We have to remember that alot of the fan base were growing up with Exo, so these are young, possessive kids...throwing childish hate at Exo. If they want to abandon Exo, let them. I only thank god that the mature fans outweighed the haters....we're talking around the world. Such great support when united...we got your back boys. SM sucked early on in not taking enough care of the Chinese members as the Korean members. Who said racism doesn't exist in Kpop? S Korea and China have their issues, that's what kept Lay in China laying low, and since stuck in China, he focused on his music. Some people don't know that Lay had haters on both sides, in Korea-hated for being Chinese, in China-hated for being in a successful Korean boy band. Remember, China has high influences of communism in the government...they might not be too keen on successful business going on in Korea, and for a Chinese national like Lay,..eyes and ears are all around. When the tensions die down, I only hope that Lay can come back one day. He's still under contract with SM. When he expressed his wanting to make a solo album, haters from both sides laughed at him and said he couldn't do it, or be successful either...with SM's blessing he went to China to make and produce his album himself, HIS MONEY, (no backing from SM), so he got to do it HIS WAY....SM still gets their cut....and he had every intention of coming right back to Exo, but then the political tensions between the 2 countries escalated and he couldn't come back. Instead he continued with his music, and 4 albums later, his success was unimaginable... now one of the richest men in China......when he first went to China, he already was very wealthy from Exo success over the years (same as all members) and he proved the haters wrong...👍 SM said publicly that they would never promote Exo in the US. With the work Exo already had, I don't know if they could handle the extra work. They do not pump out albums like younger groups, but they do have their established fan base, around the world, including the US. They toured the world, including the US. But at the time, maybe mainstream US wasn't ready for Kpop like it is now with Bts. But Bts hit the right time, with the right sound and style of music that welcomed a Korean boy band that drove people crazy, hey I'm an Army too. But with Exo's r&b vibe, idk if their style would be recognized in the US, although Exo has established their great fan base in US like around the world. They should be recognized for vocals if they ever went mainstream US. Never mind award shows. But it just goes to show how haters are secretly out there, and with China being so fri***n touchy, I feel sorry for Bts Army in China...Bts said nothing to be sorry about....give me a break! It's okay China Army, just keep supporting the boys. I do! Exo is a household name in Korea, in Asia for that matter, and that's due to their hard work all these years.As individuals, Exo members have always had exposure to the public with solo projects alongside Exo activities and music, from modeling, commercials, promoting fashion, jewelry and cologne, collabs, solo music, tv, dramas and movies. Also radio shows, talk shows, game shows, Vlives, IG, YT channels, Running Man, Superman, Knowing Bros, Happy Together...and so much more, that every member are literally known for more than just Exo. Being exol is really hard. You gets bare minimum of them and have to wait like forever . Every time when you think everything is going good suddenly we discover obstacles e.g this year Chen's marriage news ( immature people still harassing him for "betraying" them). But still its not one sided love . They watch over us, guide us and love us to the level that they go against their company too. (e.g. baek, Chen and chanyeol YT channel, Chan, suho sehun's ig accounts and unscheduled vlives whenever we feel low). Due to this till date we both are surviving coz they have us and we have them. Every day is like challenge ( getting attacked by other fandoms over literally nothing, fights within fandom like OT8/7 n all) but still I am proud to be an exol.

Losing 3 Chinese member which have big fans of them as i think biggest fans of EXO are from China and even though not trying to drag them again as they are already happy now but imagine if they're still with EXO until today..🥰🥰

Hey man, in regards to the intro I just wanted to say I completely agree with you. To me, there's no other group like EXO and they will forever hold a special place in my heart. Like you mentioned, there is a song for everything and everyone..I actually decided to stop listening to new kpop a while back and only listen to the songs from groups I stanned from when I was younger (MBLAQ, Infinite, Super Junior, SHINee, etc.). When it comes to EXO, I'll literally stop what I'm doing to catch up with them. I hope that when this pandemic settles down and we'll be able to have a vaccine, EXO will have a world tour again! I went to EXO'rdium in LA with my best friend and it was one of the best experiences of our lives hands down. The vocals, the iconic fanchants, them being so goofy and humble, as well as being concerned for us in the Pit because everyone kept pushing to be in the front. It was all worth it. Forever an EXO-L
