I suggest that the local government ( tourism department) in DAUIN, Negros Oriental will provide garbage containers in the beach area. Local government should pay attention on this matter and educate your community where to put their trash.. expats/ tourists are helping your community to grow. Hoping the local government will soon considered it , I hope.( discuss that in your sessions local government). Mahiya tayo sa mga foreigners sila pa ang kusang naglinis sa mga kalat. Anyways, thank you expats/ guest for cleaning up and u guys are great!👏👏👏

Maybe approach the school system to have their students participate in beach clean up projects once a month? I wish the DEPED would make this a part of the DEPED program nationwide. This and tree planting program. Make it mandatory.

Hi Ray, those videos are exactly what we’re doing. It’s the 3rd video from our clean-ups on my channel. We're trying to grab attention to this problem. Some people might be inspired to copy the behavior and values of the foreigners. Others might feel jealousy that foreigners are doing things that the local society should be doing. Some people support us and continue our work. For example, Filipina blogger Shay Travels (whom I mentioned in the description) joined our first beach clean-up. After that, she influenced the Dumaguete government, and they placed trash cans on the boulevard. We also participated in a clean-up event where 99.9% were Filipinos. I believe that when Filipinos saw a foreigner among them, they were glad to see the same values in different nationality and more likely repeat their behavior. From this event, there will definitely be more than 10 videos from volunteer bloggers, and some of them will get 100k+ views. If we can inspire even 1% of them, it will already have a positive impact on our planet. We are also open to new ideas on how we can make this world cleaner, so if you have any feel free to share.
