First let me say , there is NO WAY !! I'd live with or be ok with the tire denting my brand new JT !!! I'd absolutely be contacting the company and demanding it repaired since the product malfunctioned ans caused the damage... but to each there on I guess lol. Second I appreciate the video/ insight of the tire carrier !!! Thirdly I'd really like to know about some other product choices you've gone with such as the rock rails/step & I noticed the blue tailgate addition , something you've made or purchased ? And from who ? Thanks !!! She looks good !!!! I'm gonna check out your other videos!!

Thanks for watching! Some of my other videos cover a lot of those other items but the tailgate cover is from mountainhatch.org/ and I love it. There are a lot of other options now a days but this is a really good one. The rock rails are the Rock Slide Engineering with the extra skid plates and I love those two. I have banged them up pretty good and they continue to work very well. Hit me up if you need any additional info.

I know what you mean about those DC parking garages (and that harris teeter one near pentagon mall is a bit short) thanks for the great review. love the look and functionality of this bumper. seriously eyeing this one when I upgrade down the road.

Finally Ordered mine! Appreciate the review videos! Hoping to do an install video. Have you considered adding a third bake light or one of those LED brake lights like the JL? I’m concerned about someone possibly rear-ending me. Was also contemplating a rear light bar for brake and turn signals under my tent…thoughts?

Congrats on your purchase, I think you will like it. I wanted to do an install video but I installed it by myself at home and it was just too much, comment here when you have yours up and I will check it out. Check out my rear visibility video kzfaq.info/get/bejne/fLljfc9ptMrQmmw.html I did a third brake light in the wheel and also did a video rear view mirror to help me see and be seen. I have considered putting a stop and blinker light on the top of the rack but have not pulled the trigger yet. Thanks for watching!

How did your trip to Moab go? Did the 37" spare on the swing out hang up on anything? How are the latches holding up?

Did not make it to Moab yet but we have done Rausch Creek, Uwharrie and a bunch of local Virginia trails and never had a problem. The latches and holding up great and just require a little tuning occasionally. The latches that keep the swings from opening too far don't catch very well and I have a small dent where the tire swung into the bed body and I am looking into ways to prevent that in the future. All in all I am very happy with the setup after two years. Thanks for watching!

Does your spare time mount shake when driving on bumpy roads? Mine does, mounted on a 38" tire.

I never noticed it shaking but I imagine that it might shake some with all that tire weight on a bumpy road. I know that it does not rattle at all which would be more of a problem. Thanks for watching!
