We check in to the luxurious 5 star Victoria Falls Hotel for a few days of R&R. With stunning views of the gorge, amazing restaurants, super plush rooms and steeped in history, this is definitely a stay we won’t forget.
Our original itinerary included a stay in the Victoria Falls National Park at one of the Zimparks wild camps. After being cautioned against leaving possessions unattended at the campsite due to theft, we decide to find other accommodation for our time in Victoria Falls, checking out of the Vic Falls Rest Camp and into the Victoria Falls Hotel (quite the upgrade).

A proud member of Leading Hotels of the World, the Edwardian-style hotel, built in 1904, was splendidly redecorated in 2013 to combine its traditional majesty with modern sophistication. For more than 110 years The Victoria Falls Hotel has been a luxury icon in Africa.
During our 5 night stay at the hotel we got experience all she has to offer, from the decadent buffet breakfast served in Jungle Junction, to crocodile salads and high tea served on Stanley’s Terrace. But the most endearing characteristic of the Victoria Falls Hotel is definitely the staff - all of whom are passionate about her history and their legacy.
